Lithops
Got these today and have planted them straight away.
Do I need to water them in? Lightly spray them or just leave them?

@parfittsplants yes you will need to water them in especially as some of them look young so they need to establish thier tap root. I would water around them if you can and not get the leaves themselves wet as they dont like that, if you do pad dry and place by a fan or something.
There are many different ways to water these some people here are partial to removing and placing ontop of a glass with water for a couple of days, i have enough soil in mine that it can hold some water around the stones and the roots grow into it.
Even if they start splitting soon id give them little waterings for the roots but also they probably dont have enough water to survive a split especially some of the wrinkleir ones. Theyll wont be too bad with the occasional water when they're in a picky mood.
Are these in just sand? Feel free to take them our every now and again to check the roots in the early days, one day they'll take and you can't take them out.

@TheLonelyDaff they are on a compost mix that I've mixed with grit and sand. Then I've popped a layer of grit on the top as well so it should retain a little moisture for a bit of I pop some water on.
@parfittsplants sounds like a good mix and start for them they do prefer it on the grittier side,
Tony here recommends 1 soil to 1 grit to 1 coir, but i have done about 1 soil to 1 perlite to 1 grit and a a handful of sand but am always tweaking it abit.

You sould be able to just water carefully from the top or the bottom if you've got holes.
