lithops blister/tumor like growth despite me literally no...
this guy was splitting normally, doing wellβ¦ the new leaves looked healthy from what i could tell from the crack. then a few days went by, i checked in on my plants and this had happened :( i havenβt watered for at least two months at this point, so itβs very unlikely to be the issue. maybe the sun got too bright too suddenly? whatβs the best course of action? #Lithops #LithopsArmy
@SumFox :/ but i didnβt water at all for the past couple months (it started splitting earlier in February) and this one came to me slightly etiolated so i took care to water it less than my other Lithopsβ¦ maybe every 2 and a half to 3 weeks during fall, then gradually decreased as the weather got colder

@SunnyPlants I don't think so, but @strawberrymoon might find those watering videos helpful, so thanks for the tags.
I've not seen a blistering type of action before. Perhaps it is just trying to shed an outer layer. Not sure. Plants do their own bizarre stuff sometimes to keep us guessing. Honestly, since the plant was already splitting, my best guess would be that it's the new set of leaves trying to emerge. Watch it for a few more days and if it looks like it is stuck, I've heard giving it a very small drink or spritz of water can help to give it the energy to complete the job. Go at your own risk! I am not a Lithops expert. π
