Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread
Its Humpday and im up way to early as usual😤 but atleast it gives me plenty of time for lots of coffee🫩. I already tried to go out to the porch this morning for my first cup but the mosquitos attacked as soon as i sat down😱! So i retreated back to my recliner for this mornings post. AND DAMN IM ITCHY😡🤷‍♂️😂! They got me GOOD! That little rain we had mustve got them worked up cause theyre usually not out this early.
I had a pretty easy day at work yesterday and i was home by 1. I didnt do much after i got home though except nap and sit! I thought about repotting my cutlass and squamaferium philo but didnt ever get that far lol. Oh well maybe after work today. Itch itch itch😤 scratch scratch😡! NO REALLY THEY DESTROYED MY ARMS😂! ..... more coffee pause😍..... ok im back with a FULL cup🙌.

We had another awesome day of photos plant tips and great convo yesterday! There were a ton of great pics to browse through but i chose these perfect 5 for this mornings line up👍. Our first photo was shared by @PrizedShadscale from her parents yard full of beautiful flowers. Im not sure of what this is? But gregs calling it a red frangipani. Whatever it is, its AMAZING🤩! I just love that leaf pattern and those simple but elegant white and yellow flowers just draw your eyes in and ignite the imagination. @Sassylimey is on PEDUNCLE WATCH😱! She says her hoya sunrise has 9!!! COUNT EM! 9!! Peduncles on it currently and as she IMPATIENTLY 🤷‍♂️😂 waits for them to bloom😍. Maybe if you watch them theyll open faster🤔? Jk jk !
Our 3rd photo just had to be a pet photo with that cute face🥰. This was an accidental share by @SillyPlantGirl of her precious poochie so we didnt get a name for this wonderful girl. But i figured she wouldnt mibd me sharing it! Is it me or is she looking at the camera like " really mom? MORE PICTURES!" 🤷‍♂️😂 you just gotta love DOGS!
Photo 4 came to use from @TidyTigerpear plant oasis. This painters pallet anthurium is just a showstopper with those monsterous leaves and bright red flowers😎 (not flowers). You know that beauty gets a prime spot in the windows at her house!
And this gourgeous geranium growing @Prentyce house is our last photo for the day. I thought its perfectly HOT pink huge flowers matched her personality so well it had to brighten your day as much as she does!

Sadly thats the end of the show😤... BUT THERES MORE COFFEE😍! Have a great day and STAY SAFE🥰 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #GregPlantShop #GregGang #monstera #Hoya #HoyaHangout #AlocasiaAddicts
@TheConservator gooood morning 🪴🐥 #TheThread
There is no ☕️ at this hotel❗️how does that even happen!? Don’t have much else to say because NO ☕️ 😢
@SunSoilLove wtf😡😤😱
@TheConservator exactly!! None in lobby and no coffee pot in room. I didn’t think anything of room pot because they suck so badly I always go to lobby. 😔
@TheConservator since we are the first birds today, have a good one, Sonny 😀
@SunSoilLove you too! Better go hit starbucks
@PrizedShadscale love those dainty white flowers with the large leaves 😍 @Sassylimey PEDUNCLE WATCH🤩🤩 if and when I get ☕️ I’ll try to help! Also am jealous. @SillyPlantGirl your gorgeous brute is like, “who’s that dude bombing my selfie?” @TidyTigerpear wowza that anthurium is pretty 🤩
And our sweet @Prentyce I agree 💯 with Sonny - Tks for always brightening our days! 😍🤗 and hope you’re feeling great today.
❓Anybody holding any ☕️ ❓
Yessss I truly does love its spot in that window ☀️ thank you 😊
@TheConservator Good morning. Just wanted to say great Pics as usual. Just love the Frangipani. My Sister has one in her yard that I thought I should share. On her recent vacation to the Cape she sent these photos, I know, not plants but the colors are beautiful nonetheless!
@Ms.Persnickety thank you! And great pics too! Dont worry about pics being just plants. Share what you want and enjoy.
Good morning 🌞 ☕️! Everyone! @TheConservator so sorry about your porch sitting this am! Love yesterday pics of flowers and pooch! 💚
And yes, thankfully hump day!! Woo hoo.. 🙌🏻

So is it just me or do you think ole man cactus has a mohawk? Or something going on… 🤔
and yesterday notice my newly repotted tree is showing that it’s happy now 10 day.
Off to work - wishing all a great Wednesday!
Hello gang! Short updates tday.

Thinking if sending this beauty of an RoF into a competition next month. Thoughts?

New leaf on my Alocasia 'Platinum' and my Cryptocoryne albida 🙌

Harvested some small mystery Cryptocoryne from my tank. I'll let them develop in this cup.

Now some bad news. One of my male paskai suddenly started doing this. Dunno what's happening. From the looks of it might've been fighting or smt. I isolated him but tbh i don't think he'll survive.
@CourtlyKingfern the old man cacti get that tuft on top when they get new growth!🙌 and gm☕️
@Araceae sending what beauty to comp? The ROF?
Cool wildflower poppoing up from the construction dirt.
@TheConservator oh yeah sry. The RoF
Forgot the small cryptocoryne i harvested in the small cup
@Araceae It looks great! I say go for it🙌
@Prentyce

Good morning beautiful lady 😘🌅

I really hope you're feeling better today!

It's amazing that you still have managed to cheer us up by sharing with us!

Love you to pieces you cutie patootie 🤩🌻😎🦉🥰🤠😍
@TheConservator good morning angels thank you so MUCH for the hot pink flower love!! I woke up to throw up again, well really to have a headache then throw up… I’m gonna call out of work real fast and take a rest.. I really don’t understand why this happens 🥴😭🫶
GoodMorning & Happy Wednesday to all here @ #TheThread & THE BEST HOST EVERRRRR @TheConservator ❤️❤️
@PrizedShadscale - THANK YOU THANK YOU 😘
My desert rose has had a total of 42 flowers and right now it has 22 at one time 🤯 Then I have another one that is just starting to bloom with 2 little baby flowers 🥰
They are both in 8in terracotta pots, succulent soil, and about 5-6 hours of bright direct sun! It’s on the front porch so from 2 until dark they get hot sunshine 🌞
I had them inside for the winter under grow lights with little watering, but as soon as it got nice out I moved them to the front porch! I water them about every 2 weeks until the pot is wet and it’s draining! And that’s about it 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Then plant pics - first up is a Dracena and a Chinese Money plant Lego set 🥰 I have both plants so why not have the Legos too?!
Next up is a baby pup coming out of my fairy washboard 🤩 How cool is that?!
3rd pic is a Haworthia set I made for my husband to take to work and put on his desk!! It has 4 different kinds and 2 of them have pups/babies! So apparently they love those shop lights!
4th pic is a flower on my Blushing Bride Tradescantia 🥰🤩🥰 I thought that was pretty awesome and I definitely didn’t expect them! They really caught me off guard! Haha 😆 But hey, I ain’t complaining!
Last pic is my Mazatlan Blush Begonia 😍 Those leaves….How freaking pretty 😍 I LOVE IT ❤️
Good morning all! Full day of appointments and still arranging the new corner shelf (shhhh it’s really a shower rod with adjustable shelves) full of props I got from Kerry! And so sorry Sonny about the mosquitoes. I hate them so much!
Happy Wednesday #thethread
Thank you so much for the shout out @TheConservator I love reading through this thread each morning.
I'm watching those peduncles 👀 hoping she doesn't blast the buds!*
@JenniferNoel that’s incredible Jennifer! Thanks for the hints. Will have to see if there are conditions similar here that will make it worth trying again. ☺️
@SunSoilLove and @TheConservator I’m with you both, no coffee…? Who are those people?! That’s very rude of them.

Thank you for selecting my pic this morning. They are plumeria from Hawaii, they brought them back from their anniversary trip and apparently they don’t mind San Antonio weather. As long as my dad waters them routinely. They are also called frangipani according to Google (I didn’t know that).

They are the same as the ones in @Ms.Persnickety pic today but ours must be different cultivars since the size of leaf to bloom ratios are different. Gorgeous pink blooms on hers.

The other pics selected this morning are lovely. Beautiful anthurium, fun pup pic, and pretty geraniums.

Donna, I hope you find coffee. Have a lovely day everyone!
@Sassylimey that’s a cool pic.
@CourtlyKingfern Morning Evelyn, I love your old man cactus. ☺️
Happy Hump Day everyone! #TheThread and @TheConservator! I too was up super early this morning Sonny and did all my laundry, went to the gym and repotted a Hoya. I forgot to take a picture though I’ll take it later.
@PrizedShadscale this is so cool looking the leaves 🍃 are wild! @Sassylimey lucky! I can’t wait for mine to do this too. 🌱🪴 @SillyPlantGirl lolol LOVE that face!😱🐾🐶. @TidyTigerpear sooooo pretty, mine is sitting right by my bed, and I love it. @Prentyce if a girl was ever a color this would be yours!🩷
A couple in my town have an amazing garden and sell their flowers through porch pick-up in the spring, summer and fall (I’ve even gotten some of their veggies). Here is a beautiful bouquet I picked up.
Did you know there was a study done that found just looking at plants changes the brain’s electrical activity and actually helps boost serotonin. It does this through something called “soft fascination”, which is basically when nature gently holds your attention without effort. That kind of passive focus helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system – the one that calms you down. Go get yourself more plants. 🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴🪴
@SwiftWolfsbane that’s a fun fact! ☺️🌸 what a beautiful bouquet and pup you have in your pic!! 🤍 That would be the dream, have a garden blooming so much that you can sell bouquets. 💐
@PrizedShadscale we usually call it frangipani here in singapore. Yours should be a dwarf cultivar.

I can't find the other one you were talking about.
Mosquitos🦟 are the worst!

Hoping that someday you'll be able to enclose your porch with screen...

Sonny, please share what's the name of your favorite coffee? Am so curious and there are a lot of Greggers like me who can't exist without a great cuppa Joe.

I used to buy an organic dark blend, whole beans, from our local food co-op but the price skyrocketed to $18.00 a pound so it's back to beans from the grocery store. 😥

People who would visit always said it was the best coffee they ever tasted and I agree 💯. Am so tempted to put money aside in the piggy jar, to save up for it!

It's a daily disappointment to drink tasteless coffee every day but, maybe you'll come to the rescue with your answer!

Feel better and wishing you a swell day, dear friend 🌹
@Araceae thank you. I had only ever heard it called plumeria. You learn so much in this community. And Singapore is on my bucket list!
And just because I haven’t talked enough this morning… 🙄 we just found an armadillo in the yard (sorry couldn’t get good views of its face) trying to dig a hole under my parents fence.

And since I’m in the yard, here’s some banana 🍌 plants and blueberries (this I didn’t know they had planted).
#TexasGregGang
@TheConservator May I suggest a ring of Sweet Scented Geranium for you to sit in the middle of while drinking your coffee? Lol I woke up late, turned the sun on for my sleepy plants and hit the door! Have a beautiful day guys! You only get one just like this! Make it count. ♥️ I leave you with a pic of my cactus putting on new growth and its teenie weenie baby! 🌵 Can't forget my pups of Greg!
@SwiftWolfsbane lol im going to the nursery on my way home!🙌.... jk jk i think more at this piont is just stress🤷‍♂️😂
49th parallel old school espresso. But for my coffee pot im not really that picky. Just a columbian, usually just folgers columbian but ill but whats on sale too lol @CutePolypremum
@CutePolypremum I adore the coffees at HEB! My favorite is their cinnamon coconut. I’m a cinnamon fiend and add it to all kinds of things (including my coffee!). You can also add all kinds of herbs and spices to the coffee grounds before you brew, to make it more like chai or different things. You can also freeze coffee beans/grounds to save for later!
49 th has tons of great roasts though. You can get it on amazon now!
@RealSimpleMama im not a fan of most flavors in coffee. But cinbamon and vanilla i can do
I just use sweet italian creamer from coffee mate daily
I dont think id want my porch screened tbh. They rately bother me. Not sure what was up with em this morning? They ysually cone out right at sun up for maybe an hr then disappear until sundown for an hr.
@Prentyce Oh sweet girl 😞I hate this for you. Feel better soon 💗
@PrizedShadscale Do armadillo eat blueberries? I haven't seen an Armadillo since I was a kid! Even then it was on the side of this unpaved road that took us to my parents weekend home on the Trinity River,(sounds fancier than it was😂) on its back with a bottle of Lone Star beer in its hands? Paws? Why was that even a thing back then? Hahaha
@PrizedShadscale finally got some ☕️☕️ and am pretending to be human and working.
Good morning, I hope everybody is feeling great (or at least a bit better, for those under the weather). I don't have much to contribute life wise (though I maybe can join in on the general confused rage of coffee free hotels). Lots happening in life and no energy left to share, except maybe for some planty pictures, as always, more blooms than leaves. Maybe I will gather some energy this evening to order my thoughts enough to put them in a post, but for now, enjoy this chaotic flower barrage:
And some more....
@princesspitstop definitely the Lone Star beer. I think I’ve only seen one other armadillo alive. Poor little guys. I’ll be on the watch today for better pics.
And some close ups of those beauties, maybe add that dahlia once again, for good measure because I'm just so stunned by it, aaaaand I'm done for the day 😉😴
@PrizedShadscale You'll have a better chance tonight because they are nocturnal! Get you a flashlight and keep your camera ready! Armadillo Watch 2025!! 😂💗
@MusicalRedmint Good morning Susann!!! Gorgeous blooms!! The color of that Orchid!! 🤯 I love your precious fuzzy white cactus in bloom 🩷🩷🩷 The cutest little guy I've ever seen!! Have a beautiful day friend 💞
@MusicalRedmint Susann, I’m always blown away by your collection. Absolutely stunning! As much as I am loving all the beautiful blooms, I think I am most obsessed with your cactus and those pale pink blossoms. I don’t know how you do it but exceptional! 🌸🤍🌸 Hope you find some extra energy today.
@MusicalRedmint beautiful flowers😍
@princesspitstop thats the cactus ive been looking for locally. Its a mammillaria bocasana
One of my faves. Use to have a nice one 10-15 yrs ago but i killed it😤
Btw, @TheConservator, I don't remember who it was that asked about those 5 cm pots a few days back, but thanks for answering for me. I have to add two things however: 1. She was correct, they aren't 5, but 6 cm🤦‍♀️ still small though. And yet not really all that tiny. All those orchids I bought in seedling size come in them. I leave them in them for quite a while as well: I have young phals that are well over a year old, that are still great in those pots. Many mature mini phals also come in them.in that case I would argue they are a bit small of course, but still: not only useful for freshly grown seedlings.
2.: i don't know if he answered you directly, because i could not keep up with the thread, but @Araceae's orchid isn't as complicated as you might think. And loads of fun 😉. You only need a sterile environment and equipment of you want to grow orchids from seeds yourself. But many sellers nowadays, sell their flasks. Those are already prepared orchids seeds that have grown enough that they can be taken out sooner or later, once they are big enough. No lab needed for that. And oftentimes a great deal. Some sell them in single plants, but oftentimes, they just sow them in the agar willy nilly. So you buy several tiny - oftentimes rare, expensive or experimental - orchids in one flask, ranging from 3-5 to over 100 in a flask for a fraction of the price of even slightly older seedlings. It's a really fun thing to tinker with, without a lot more effort 😉
@princesspitstop @TheConservator @PrizedShadscale thank you everyone. 😊 And likewise. I saw so many beautiful pictures just scrolling through the posts. And yes, that cactus is an absolut favorite of mine as well - which is saying a lot because... well it's neither an orchid nor a hoya 😁 I only got it last summer. And it's now the third time it is reblooming. I love it too bits. As for how... well it's about 12 cm (5inches??? I think) under the best growlights I have that blast it for 14 hours a day. I would say if it wasn't happy, I would stop that nonsense and wouldn't need to pay absurd amounts for my energy bill 😀
@TheConservator lol I thought you were talking about my cactus. Mine is a Mammillaria Elongata. Yes @MusicalRedmint cactus 😁 I'm in love💕 so adorable.
But... but have you seen those dahlias? Sry, can't help myself. I just think they are so beautiful. They blew me away. My mother raided her garden for me yesterday. I didn't even know she had these special varieties planted. @TheConservator @princesspitstop @PrizedShadscale
Also: that tiny emerging bloom is the patella from a cutting I just bought really recently. I cannot believe my luck that it's already trying to bloom. I thought I would have to wait ages with this one
@MusicalRedmint I DID SEE THAT!! So small!! Mother nature amazes me every day. 💚
& here’s a few more for #TheThread 😍

First 2 pics are my Hoya Burtoniae and wow oh WOW 🤩 It’s literally gone CRAZY since I hung it up on the front porch! Those sun stressed leaves are sooo pretty, but pics don’t do it any justice 🤦🏽‍♀️
3rd pic is my purple shamrocks aka purple butterflies 🦋💜🦋 I LOVE the color purple and I LOVE butterflies so it’s the perfect combination!
4th pic is the flowers on my red pagoda crassula! I did NOT expect that either! I guess it LOVES the sunshine because it didn’t flower last summer underneath grow lights!!
Last but not least is my baby fire sticks/pencil cactus 🌵 They are soooo adorable and sun stressing as well 🤩
@TheConservator ME TOOOOOO!!!! Gotta have me a bigass purple bottle in the fridge at all times. Powder creamer is worse than death. ☠️💀
Oh. Almost forgot her. My minimark is at it again and would have probably been mad, if I didn't mention her as well 😀
@RealSimpleMama YESSSS!! Are you talking about the Italian Sweet Cream??
@princesspitstop bahahahahaha yes!!!! @TheConservator I love really strong coffee (don’t mind flavors but I do love me some cinnamon) and that same creamer
@MusicalRedmint ive never seen them until today. They are really cool looking! Love all the colors in there.
@RealSimpleMama I love HEB's Cafe Ole' Snickernut flavor 😋😋😋😍
@Ms.Persnickety gorgeous pics this morning especially the birds! 🥰🥰
@Araceae that ROF is stunning and you should definitely 💯 enter it! 🙌
@JenniferNoel omg the Lego sets! Sooo cute 😊🥰 What do you do with the Fairy Washboard pup? Just snap it off?? 🤷‍♀️. And as always that begonia! 🫠
@SwiftWolfsbane love the soft fascination concept! Taking my dog for a walk and looking at everything around me 🌲 🐦 🌿🍃helps me decompress for sure 👍. Good to know it has a name. 🤗 Gorgeous bouquet 💐 and your plant shelves vibe is so ☺️😌🧘‍♀️
@PrizedShadscale @Araceae I too only knew it as plumeria. Learn something new!! Singapore 🇸🇬 also on my list after seeing videos of the ArtScience museum and the lily pads! 😍
Good morning everyone! So many great pics & convos already! 🙌 I’m off to run errands but wanted to share these begonia pics from the orchid open house from a few weeks ago #Begonia #BegoniaBunch #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
And this one. Such gorgeous leaves!! #Begonia #BegoniaBunch #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
@HappySelah25 It's the best!! 💞 It's weird how much us planty people have in common. From Corms to coffee ☕!!
@MusicalRedmint yes, the dahlias are gorgeous. I did miss it the first look. Absolutely striking.

I think the things I love about your cactus 1. I could potentially grow it and keep it alive 2. Flower crown 👑 3. Pale pink delicate flowers 4. I could possibly keep it alive.

Dahlias… stunning. I couldn’t possibly keep one alive at this moment in my plant journey. Still working on the orchids and one got heavily infested with spider mites and it had to go. 😢
@MariansOasis That texture!!! I was just saying how I'd be petting cactus now rubbing begonia leaves! I'd be asked to leave the store! Hahaha
@princesspitstop lololol 😝😜🤪
@PrizedShadscale In case you’re wondering here’s what Wikipedia has to say about plumerias https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plumeria.
@MusicalRedmint WOW, that’s just Perfection!😍🤩😍
So according to the @TheConservator’s theory the Old man cactus get that tuft on top as they get new growth . This Old Broad, wants to know what do Old Lady cactus have when exhibiting the same type of tufts on top @CourtlyKingfern Old Man cactus 1.) pic, and Old Lady cactus 2.) pic
@Ms.Persnickety id assume itscthe same.🤷‍♂️ really the hairy cacti i can think@of all get a tuft on top when growing.
@SunSoilLove That’s absolutely Sacrilegious! No coffee in a Hotel. I have to share a pic from my last years vacation and the in room coffee station in the Hotel. Even with a complimentary bottle of water!
@RealSimpleMama

Hi Sarah!

Sounds like great coffee!

Unfortunately, we live in the Northeast and there are no HEBs here 😥

Thanks for responding!

When I used to visit my mom in San Antonio, we would always shop at HEB.
@PrizedShadscale right? It’s such a huge backyard they have and the whole thing is just flowers and veggies and it looks just wild like the seeds were just tossed in the air. They are very laid-back too, so the whole vibe goes with them.
@TheConservator

Good to know about 49th parallel and Amazon. Thanks!
@MariansOasis I love the soft fascination concept as well and can definitely see. It has an effect in my life. Even my music changed when I started taking care of my plants. Even my dress code it’s wild. I am so much more laid-back and relaxed and softer.
@HappySelah25 me too Michelle
@TheConservator walking around the nursery or a plant store instantly lifts the stress for me and then I just walk out with a smile on my face, not even realizing it
@SwiftWolfsbane oh it does me too. Butvthen i get home with more plants and tomorrow comes lol
The trick for me is to not buy. Unless its sonething ive actually been looking for. No impulse buys!
Today sucked! It was hot a muggy and no wind inside the house with no ac. Ive gotten spoiled with ac over the last few years.
Whos going to come move my cacti back out to@the drive? You could catch some of those beneficial endorphins @SwiftWolfsbane was talking about🙌
This bunny hangs out like 3-4 ft from my dog acer right under the porch where he lays. 😂
@TheConservator haha I guess your weather has lifted and it’s time to get the plants all in a row?
@TheConservator no impulse buys, I like that. I’m going to use that too. Only get the ones that I am specifically really wanting that I’m saving up for.
@SwiftWolfsbane yeah for a few days anyway. Theres another chance saturday morning but they can get rained on again by that time. I dont really mind if they get rained on as long as its no more than 1x a week and night or early morning cause the rain and heat right after causes a breeding ground on cacti
Here’s that 6am repot. This is the weirdest plant that I ever bought. It literally was just a bunch of leaves sticking in the dirt when I repotted it barely any route so we’ll see how it does.
@SwiftWolfsbane yeah i really have been doing good about it with tropicals. But cacti and succulents is alwaysxa harder fight to win. Plus theyre cheap and the unusual is always just part of my cacti list 🤷‍♂️. I have a few specific ones i want.
@SwiftWolfsbane looks great! An eskimo?
@TheConservator that’s why I’m not starting that collection
@TheConservator yes. It does look pretty decent now. It didn’t look so hot this morning. is that how you propagate you just stick the leaf ends in the soil? Because there was a lot of them just sticking out with no roots or anything.
@JenniferNoel loveee that haworthia arrangement and that begonia!! Stunning colors
@SwiftWolfsbane you stick a set of leaves and a piece of vine with the leaf node into the soil.
Pin it to the top with just a small amount into the media us how i do it
@Ms.Persnickety oh my goodness! I love you old man & lady! 🙌🏻💚
I see the ole lady is kinda plump like me. 🫣🤣
@PrizedShadscale thanks Kerry! Good evening now to you, 😉
@Ms.Persnickety Love the flowers and the birdies!!
@princesspitstop Love the cute baby cacti and the pups! Can’t wait to see my cacti do something.
@RefinedSandwort Isn't it precious?? It was a rescue. Someone left it behind in an apartment so I don't know how old it is. But if how SLOW the little baby is growing (it popped up last year) I'd say it was ancient! Lol And the pups are rotten! Completely my fault haha
@RefinedSandwort So far it's done something once a year. Last year it had little weird babies all over it. 😬😶‍🌫️this year it's growing tall. No pups yet! We'll see
@Ms.Persnickety dang. That looks so nice and welcoming.
I’m in same hotel tonight but now I know to get up and out early to go find some coffee. Lobby coffee didn’t come out today until after 6 am. WTH happened to 24 hour lobby coffee?
@TheConservator heh heh heh You’re going to have FUN trying to select pics for tomorrow because there are SO MANY gorgeous pics today! 😍🤩🪴❤️
@Ms.Persnickety ,
The picture of the hummingbird is magnificent! That is an impressive camera to get that result.
@Ms.Persnickety Your old man and old lady cacti are cute!
@JenniferNoel Love that baby fairy washboard pup!! I’ve been impatiently waiting for mine to pop one out. I have several other haworthias in recovery mode. I’ll settle for them just getting re-rooted this year.
@PrizedShadscale That must have been exciting an Armadillo in the garden. Maybe it was after the grapes 🍇?
@HolyLacealoe Thanks, but I cannot take credit for the picture taking! Those are all thanks to my sister’s photographic talent!
@MariansOasis where did you see that begonia at ? I’ve seen those only in small pots !!! Wish I could grow them .. I can’t I look at them and they die
@Hoyaobsessed good morning! Those begonias were from the open house at Andy’s Orchids in Leucadia. Im not sure they’re on his website but just call with any inquiries anyway.
The last picture looks like the flock that I have growing outside!
@TheConservator in Indiana we called them bachelor buttons. And I have seen them blue white and pink. You can collect the seeds or just let them drop where they are and they will come back next year.
Oh as for the mosquito bites have you ever heard of putting a drop of nail polish on them? It smothers the whole and stops the reaction to the bite.
