Got some new little buddies today! I was laughing. I ordered a black Babylon hoya, and I got a second as a mystery plant on the same day! Ha ha 🤣 🤦‍♀️ Well, who knows? Thought I’d share a few little buddies! The first two Hoyas are some new buddies: Hoya bird of paradise and a Hoya Meredithii (Gunung Kapi), the other a purple-vein alocasia; and then my little cute Dino anthurium had a beautiful companion pop up. Hey everyone! I know this is a long shot, but there's a nursery called San Marcos Growers in Santa Barbara, CA that recently shut down their operations. They're still selling off remaining inventory, including a Tradescantia sillamontana variety called "Huasteca Canyon" they originally collected in the wild in Mexico. And no one else on the planet seems to have it! They're no longer shipping plants, so they can only be picked up in person. So if anyone lives in that area who would be willing to help me out with this, please let me know! I'd of course send you all necessary funds and shipping costs, and also reimburse you for your time. New growth!!! After my monstera sadly broke during a repot I was terrified that she was not going to come back. But all 4 parts are showing new amazing growth!! My crown of thorns plant is also blossoming and my white wizard philodendron is also showing some new leaves! Hello everyone, Here is a “family” portrait of my Avacado plants/trees. I do not propagate my avocado pits in water. First, I soaked the pit in water for about an hour and peel off the outer layer skin. I put them in the soil in a pot, cover them in dirt about 3/4 of the way pointed side up. Then I place a clear plastic cup over the pit and keep the soil moist. Not all the pits will sprout, but about 50%. From the week old baby in the front to eight months old tress in the back. Omg 🙈 my family got home at 3 a.m. this morning, and my niece was calling me at 9 a.m. to come get her so she could come steal my plants. 😂✨ She’s too cute! 🥰 Anyway, had to share my buddies I’ve been working on the last couple of days. It’s a little wild, but I was out working, and then all of a sudden they changed, and it was hailing. Monstera problems I repotted my monstera a few weeks back, thought she’s enjoy a good soaping from the rain and now my leaves are turning yellow. 🥲I don’t know if it’s fungus because she only a little damp not wet inside. So my yard is absolutely terrible, but I have big ol’ puppies. But I’ve had a whacking day. I don’t know about you all, but sometimes when I start projects, I get a little too into them. 😂🤦‍♀️ Well, there went the bananas. Good morning everyone. It’s a great day. I like to share something that I do. I’ve been doing it for about two months now and it seems to work very well. I have a gallon plastic container that I put banana peels in, I found some old protein powder and I dump a little bit of that in there and I put a little bit of old coffee grounds. I fill it with water and I let it sit. I’ve been dumping this concoction on my plants. I poured the gallon of that on my hibiscus late yesterday afternoon. I swear the plant looks so much better. This is free fertilizer and it’s about as organic as you can get. Hello everyone I hope you’re having a great day. Here is a new plant that I bought. It’s going in my succulent garden. I was told, by the lady at Lowes, that it is a coral cactus. The tag says “Euphorbia ammak Crest” Is that correct?
