How to fertilize Liver Plant

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Liver Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Question for #greggers successfully growing Split Rocks (or Lithops) .... I've mastered almost every variety of soft succulents but these ones I'm fairly new to. I'm debating growing these guys outside on my deck OR inside under growlights.... Given that my Southern California climate is decent enough for these species I can do either. I purchased them at a nursery where they were kept outside in part shade. They looked very healthy so I put 'em on my outside deck in similar conditions. I'd like to repot them in better soil & a taller pot before they split /bloom & also to give more room for the tap roots but they are currently dormant in the summer high temps. Right now it's in the high 90's in Los Angeles! 🥵 Should I wait a few weeks without watering and repot in October when temps are lower or should I move them inside under grow lights and repot in a week or so Also, for those that grow under professional LED lights do you know the PPFD (μmol/m2/s) that split rocks and or Lithops prefer? Thanks! #splitrock #lithops #lithopsarmy #succulentsquad #succulentlove #plantaddict #greggang #gregteam #socalgreg #outdoorgrowing #growlights

Is this mold? #SplitRock I haven’t watered these two for 3+ weeks, but I noticed today that my royal flush seems to be molding/rotting! Can someone give me some pointers? #RootRot

My split rock Gonzo is starting to flower! 😍 He first started splitting about four months ago, so it's been at least that long since I last watered him. Very excited to see what color flower he births! 👀🌸 An important reminder: STOP WATERING your split rocks and lithops when they start splitting! It means they're growing a new set of leaves. The old set will start to break down and be reabsorbed by the plant, which provides it all the nutrients and water it needs for the duration of the process. Any extra water you give it during this time could cause the new leaves to rot. You can resume watering once the old leaves have completely shriveled up and disappeared. #SplitRock #FloweringPlants #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Pleiospilos #Mesembs #NewGrowth #GregGang #stephonicle

Does anyone just use pummice in terracotta for their lythop? Royal Flush here with a variety on the way.

#whatthesuccwednesday One more Suc for the day. Anyone remember the gigantic Lithops that Home Depot stocked for a minute last year? Well, this year it's huge Pleiospilos nelii! The pot isn't 3.5 inches, but "a pint" haha. Here it is next to my other "large" nelii for comparison.

The sides of my lithops are rotting but the top part is completely fine, what should I do? It suddenly got like this a few days ago, unsure why.

What is happening to my baby. I haven't been over watering him. 😭😭 #SplitRock #help
