Finding light for Bacchus in your home
Bacchus love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Bacchus does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Bacchus in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Bacchus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Bacchus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Is my Lithops splitting? Hey guys! I'm wondering if my #Lithops is "splitting." I've heard not to water them while they're splitting, however mine has been stuck in its current state for a few weeks now. I don't want to continue denying it water if it's not actually going to complete its process of splitting. Any advice would be appreciated! #LithopsArmy #AskGreg #help

When to water lithops? Hi friends 😊 This collection of cute little #Lithops was gifted to me from a lovely friend and I want to be sure I don’t kill them! I know to bottom water and they are in a very gritty mix as you can see. I’ve read conflicting information on when and how often to water, though! Some say don’t water when it’s splitting, some say soak and dry, some say they should be dormant right now, and not to water, and others say to water if they are starting to shrivel. Help! 🙏🏻💚 #SucculentSquad #Succulents #LithopsArmy #SucculentLove #babevila

New #succulents! Ordered from April Farm/Rare Succulent. I’m beyond pleased! Potted bare root baby succulent cuttings mostly different varieties of #echeveria in #akadama and top dressed with #quartzsand and just top dressed the assorted #lithops with Akadama. The little #babyrita #cactus has been here but looks great with the new little ones. 💚 happy plant person here 🙋🏻♀️🪴🌵

Question for #greggers successfully growing Split Rocks (or Lithops) .... I've mastered almost every variety of soft succulents but these ones I'm fairly new to. I'm debating growing these guys outside on my deck OR inside under growlights.... Given that my Southern California climate is decent enough for these species I can do either. I purchased them at a nursery where they were kept outside in part shade. They looked very healthy so I put 'em on my outside deck in similar conditions. I'd like to repot them in better soil & a taller pot before they split /bloom & also to give more room for the tap roots but they are currently dormant in the summer high temps. Right now it's in the high 90's in Los Angeles! 🥵 Should I wait a few weeks without watering and repot in October when temps are lower or should I move them inside under grow lights and repot in a week or so Also, for those that grow under professional LED lights do you know the PPFD (μmol/m2/s) that split rocks and or Lithops prefer? Thanks! #splitrock #lithops #lithopsarmy #succulentsquad #succulentlove #plantaddict #greggang #gregteam #socalgreg #outdoorgrowing #growlights

Help plz..wrinkly #Lithops Alright, so. I bought these guys last year. Then finally put em in soil this year. Things have been a little hectic, that’s why. (It’s my very first time with lithops) One died off last month I think, because it was too dry. But as you can see, two are wrinkly and one is fine. (It’s funny cuz they’re like a little gradient from left to right: wrinkly, slightly wrinkly, not wrinkly😂) I have no idea if their roots are established yet, so I pulled up the non wrinkly one the others day or so, and it was very very dry. I’ve heard to only water em when they’re wrinkly, so I have been watering mainly the two. But they’re not becoming unwrinkly. Why? What’s wrong? #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation #GrowLights #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #LivingStones

Fertilizer Conversion #Lithops #Fertilizer I have liquid fertilizer. Greg is telling me to give my plant 45 mg of fertilizer. How does that convert.

LITHOPS - are these for real? #LithopsArmy So I am looking for buy some lithops seeds (genuine seller of seeds) but I do wonder if their photos are exaggerating the colors and range of potential lithops. So does anyone have a great example of a collection of different types of Lithops? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #Lithops #LithopsBromfieldii #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #theamigos #Seymour
