How to fertilize Mammillaria mazatlanensis
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Mammillaria mazatlanensis after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can I repot a spiny pincushion while it's blooming? #Mammillaria Not pictured but my spiny pincushion has been slowly blooming over the past month and its flowers are just now opening up. Its roots have been trying to escape through the bottom of the plastic pot it's in for awhile and I'd really like to give it more space and a better pot than the one it came in. Will I do much harm to the plant if I repot it now? Should I wait until it's completed it's bloom cycle? Im just worried that waiting out such a slow cycle may be risking issues - it really wants more space to grow! Thanks in advance!

One of my babies decided to rot completly and just die. Well, woke up, looked at my babies and saw that Sigmund was about to collapse from rot. I mean... this plant. Everything is fine, then one day he thinks: well, it's a nice day to die. Bye. ☠ 😂 I was able to grab two babies from Sigmund, put some cinnamon on roots and I'm going to let it callus. Do you think they have a chance? 🥺 #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #byebye #plantaddict #propagationstation #plantgraveyard #greggang #mammillaria
