Hi! I hope I can get some help. Did it turn from green to brown from too much water or sun? Did I kill it? Is there any way of bringing it back?

Just had its first watering today, I did how much it said to do (1/2 cup) but it all ran right out of my pot. Do I add more water, or is it fine???? #NewPlantMom

hey guys! i have a nipple cactus that i received as a gift, but it has a silicone flower super-glued to the top of it. is there any way i can remove it without hurting my cactus or will it be fine if it stays there?
