Did I do something wrong or am I dumb? šŖ“ #ChaoticPlainsUpdates found out something was wrong with my plant and accidentally fixed it š±Citrine is apparently a #RarePlants and I didnāt know it⦠so I really need to take better care of him š° š±but yeah, he was huge and not in a good way, but now heās shrunk⦠šæ STORY TIME So, for a while I noticed Citrine gettingā¦wider. Me being stupid thought that was normal. Until now. Heās significantly shrunk and I think itās because of over watering. šæAlso while posting this, my drink was next to Citrine and I almost DRANK my cactus. šŖ“ does anyone have any thoughts on this? šPICTURE KEY 1) proof that Citrine is a #RarePlants 2) showing what citrien looks like now 3) showing how close Citrine and my DDP were š³ #Mammillaria #CactusClique #Cactus #SucculentSquad

Whatās up with Citrine?! šµ Heās getting really roundā¦is that normal?? šŖ“ Heās in succulent soil, so Iām not surprised that the soil drains quickly. Iām just confused as to when I start to water again. His soil gets dry in about a week, but when I water him heās squishy afterwards. I started at giving him 236 ml and then went to 118 ml and now I only give him 59 ml. Help? Why does he still get so squishy? š± thereās also little white spots on him?? #concernedplantparent #SucculentSquad #CactusClique

Idk if this is true, but I did it just to be on the safe side. I watched a video where it said that succulents arenāt supposed to be in big pots. They said this is because the water in the lower soil will rot the roots. Like I said, idk if this is true. But after a few scares with Citrine, I repotted him to something smaller. Now I have extra succulents soil.

Would it be stupid to move Citrine?? So recently, Citrine has been getting more and more squishy. I havenāt been watering him, heās just squishy. I donāt know if I should move him or not, can anyone help?? Also I think this needs to be said, I have no clue what Iām doing. Thatās why Iām here. #help #Cactus #PincushionCactus #SucculentSquad #NewPlantMom

What is this?!?! So what is the hole in citrineā¦itās hard, not soft and I cleaned the dirt out of it for a better lookā¦and idk. #SucculentSquad #CactusClique #PincushionCactus

Update on the Pebbles!!! I ended up adding pebbles to Citrineās terrarium! He looks great and hopefully this wonāt end badly. #SucculentSquad #CactusClique
-
Pebbles or no? So I was going to finish Citrineās terrarium but I didnāt know if putting pebbles on top was a good idea or not. I donāt want Citrine to go thirsty. Thereās pebbles that the bottom for drainage and I wanted to know if putting pebbles on top would be too much?? If it is too much I can just leave it the way it is. (I swear someone is going to yell at me for posting so much š°) #Terrarium #CactusClique #SucculentSquad
