How to fertilize Aurea Bloodleaf
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aurea Bloodleaf after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

New growth? Will the little leaves on the tall stems fill out soon? I’ve been cutting off the bigger leaves as they get yellow!

Some leaves are white? Help! I have some leaves on my new plant that have kind of gone white and crinkled. Some were like this when I bought it! Any ideas why this is happening? Should I prune them to let new growth happen?

My propagation was successful! Some new leaves on my first propagation! #PropagationStation #NewGrowth #NewPlantMom

#HappyPlants My Herbst’s Bloodleaf has made it through its first bloom! Most of the flowers have fallen. Do I need to remove the stems?

Repot ? I’ve noticed the soil coming away from the sides of the pot…when do I have to move my plant to a bigger container? I just pinched this plant back yesterday. I added a picture before pinching to show size.

Next pinch location? Hello! So last question I posted was regarding some sad leaves! In turn, someone suggested I pinch back the plant to encourage growth elsewhere! I did that and it has grown a ton! Does it need to be pinched anymore or should I just leave it be in its glory? Also, the piece I pinched off has developed some roots! So exciting. How long do they have to be before I plant it?

Add prop leaf? Okay… am I able to add a stem I’m propagating to the same pot with the mother plant?? How long do the roots need to be before I can do this? #PropagationStation #NewGrowth #NewPlantMom #PlantShelfie

Kind of sad looking Compared to before it’s pretty sad looking but it was getting really tall and leggy. By cutting top leaves I’m hoping these smaller ones fill out and get more bushy!! #Iresine #HerbstsBloodleaf
