Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Echeveria 'Jasiri' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Wanted to share this after a post from @Charli3Plant had me questioning life & if my PVN (perle Von nurnberg) was actually that.. or a purple pearl 😆 so here I have a comparison of a purple Pearl, PVN, & dusty rose 😊 #SucculentLove #Succulents #PlantInfo #PlantID #plantidentification #Echeveria #perlevonnermburg #PurplePearlEcheveria #SucculentSquad

Apparently my plants don't know what season it is. My Dusty Rose has been growing like a weed and was almost bursting out of her pot. Upsized her so she has lots of room to grow and stretch her leaves a bit. Also had to rearrange my Blue Atoll and Lolita; silly me put both of them in with winter growers-whoops. Lastly, got my Sedeveria repotted with other winter growers. Here's hoping everyone settles in nicely for the winter. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #newgrowth #succulentsquad #succulentlove #echeveria #pachyphytum #sedeveria

wanted to update you guys on a #Propagation project I have growing. I recently had to chop and prop the stem of my pink diamond Echeveria. (I had a small one first, then later bought another big one with a baby attached). after I almost lost my first small one, I decided that I would chop her stem so she could grow healthier roots. I took a few bottom leaves off to prop them. they are doing well and starting to show growth. it took them a while takeoff, but I was so pleased when I saw that they were putting off new roots.. 🤩🌱🤓 the Echeveria that is the mother plant of these props has also started growing new healthy roots, & will be ready for a repot soon enough. I have kept them under grow lights & mist them daily! This is my first time propagating an echeveria! #PropagationStation #Propagation #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #echeveria #PinkDiamond #PinkDiamond #NewGrowth #GrowLights #GrowingSuccs #PropDontShop

He has been easy to take care of, & is always a good sport ! 3. Sedeveria blue burrito (I think) was a rescue from Walmart, I just love the leaf texture/pattern/colors. 🤩 4. My lifesaver cactus has gotten a repot, she wasn’t doing to well recently due to underwatering but we fixed that.. lol 💦 5. Sproutacus the ice plant has also been super easy since I took him home. The colors on my Echeveria Sensation get better by the day as we enter the winter period. These guys get colorful once the days get shorter! I totally recommend Echeveria Sensation as she has never given me a problem, and even stayed tight in low light conditions. She's a fun one! #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #echeveria #succulentsquad #succulentlove #sensation #echeveriasensation
Echeveria 'Jasiri' thrives in dry soil and should be watered sparingly. Use our water calculator to personalize watering recommendations to your environment or download Greg for more advanced recommendations for all of your plants.
☀️ Sunlight Needs
Echeveria 'Jasiri' requires abundant, bright and direct light. Place it less than one foot from a window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪. Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement in your home 🏡.
🐶 🐈 👶 Toxicity
Greg does not have confirmed data on this plant’s toxicity. If you, a family member, or a pet consumes plant material of unknown toxicity, it’s always best to consult a medical professional.
If you or someone else ingested this plant, call Poison Control at US (800) 222-1222. If a pet consumed this plant, contact your veterinarian or the ASPCA at US (888) 426-4435.
💨 Humidity
Echeveria 'Jasiri' enjoys lots of humidity. Provide humidity for your plant by watering regularly and thoroughly, since plants absorb most water through their root system rather than their leaves. They may also benefit from being placed next to a humidifier.
🪴 Soil
Echeveria 'Jasiri' is very sensitive to wet soil, so choose a potting soil that drains very well and doesn’t retain too much moisture. A good soil will have lots of perlite or vermiculite for drainage and some organic matter for nutrition. A few handfuls of perlite added to regular store-bought cactus soil will do the trick!
💩 Fertilizer
Echeveria 'Jasiri' grows very slowly and doesn’t require added fertilizer. Replacing your plant’s potting soil once a year should provide them with more than enough nutrition. Remember, plants get their energy from sunlight, not fertilizer!
❄️ Dormancy
It’s common for Echeveria 'Jasiri' to go dormant in the wintertime and you may notice their growth slow down. Waterings should be spaced out more during this time.
🌎 Native Region
Echeveria 'Jasiri' is native to Central and northern South America.
🧐 Troubleshooting
When troubleshooting a sad-looking houseplant, start by checking for signs of distress in its leaves, such as yellowing, browning, or drooping, which can indicate overwatering or nutrient deficiencies.
Inspect the soil moisture; too dry or too wet soil can cause problems.
Ensure the plant is getting the right amount of light, as too much or too little can stress it.
Finally, consider environmental factors like temperature and humidity, and adjust care routines accordingly to revive your plant.
