Sooo I was at the grocery store and they randomly had the hugest #Echeveria Perle Von Nurnberg I have ever seen! 🤩🪴 6 inches across! I snagged it for $11. Happy New Year's Eve everyone! This time of year has always held a peculiar bittersweetness and melancholy for me. Ever since I started getting into plants, I've found that the melancholy is significantly less than usual. The days are short but they're getting progressively longer. Some of the plants have new growth, a small promise that spring is right around the corner. This year I'm undertaking a little personal project: I'm going to try to photograph all of my plants' growth throughout the year, documenting them on the equinoxes and solstices. Happy Yule everyone! We officially made it past the longest night of the year: it only gets brighter from here. I finally got around to getting a giant plastic saucer for my plants, and I'm already in love. So excited to not have to haul them outside and deal with all of that mess on watering days. My succulent props are almost looking like proper succulent babies, so I wanted to share! It’s been slow growing, but now they are really picking up the pace! So fun to watch them grow from a single leaf 🍃 into a new plant 🪴 these are but a few of my favorites right now! 1. Graptosedum ‘Vera Higgins’ 2. Mystery echeveria—I’ll figure it out when it’s bigger! Lol. I forgot to write it down at the time. 3. Taciveria ‘Tasha’ 4. Echeveria ‘Dark Elf’ —this one is really special to me because back in late winter last year, when a bunch of my succulents got fusarium wilt, I was able to save this one leaf from my original Dark Elf before it got infected! It’s getting so big 🥹🤗 5. Variegated Ghost Plant that I just propped a couple weeks ago, already getting pretty big! Wouldn’t it have been a lot cooler if I had posted the photos on my #WhatTheSuccWednesday post? 🤣🤣🤣 Let’s try this again. Only 20 minutes left in the day. Jeez. Today, we have a succulent arrangement I made at work, featuring my coworker’s giant #Echeveria of some kind (I think?), a #SpiderCactus which is hidden by all the clover that is taking over the pot 😂, my #Aloevera and some #GollumJade . It’s so happy in the office window and that echeveria keeps growing! It’s about 7” across now! 😱 Then, we have my #FloristKalanchoe which is finally about to rebloom! Go girl! 🌸🌸🌸 Next, my #Sempervivum enjoying the winter in the living room window My cute new #SnakePlant 🐍 And last but not least, my new Echeveria Neon Breakers from #GregPlantShop.
