How to fertilize Ben Badis Echeveria
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Ben Badis Echeveria after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Ben Badis just moved to its new pot. This time I planted it into bare Bonsai Jack + a little bit of old soil. Will see how it likes it this time, since 2 Bens have died in my oasis in the past. #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #benbadis #Echevria #echeveriabenbadis #Succulents

On one of my first post, I was recommended to buy Lola a light for extra feeding. At first, I didn’t think it was necessary because I felt like she had a lot of sunlight. But this past week, it’s been raining and she hasn’t been getting as much light as I wanted her to have. So I eventually caved and got her a light. It’s so perfect because it reduced so much space and helps me and Lola. It’s so perfect. I love it. It will continue to rain next week so I’m glad she’s getting light in the mean time. But just in case, Is there such thing as too much light for succulents?

Losing middle leaves? #Echeveria Any ideas how to help my baby thats losing leaves in the middle? They turn yellow then fall off. Its been doing well under a grow light until recently. I water when completely dry.

I always thought this was echeveria elegans 'Mexican Snowball' but the pictures I look at the tips of the leaves are always pointier than mine. It looks more like some sort of echeveria pulidonis or pearl echeveria. If someone knows for sure or if I'm in the right ballpark, your opinions would be appreciated. I'm trying to learn more and all the variations are extremely similar. Thank you #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #succulentlove #newplantmom #plantid #whatplantisthis

Powdery mildew or no? #WhatTheSuccWednesday I recently received this plant from the Greg plant shop. I've had it for about a month and has looked the same since it arrived. Is this powdery mildew? Thanks!

So beautiful, right 🥰? I have named this friend LOEN. This is the Echeveria Lola succulent line originating from Vietnam. I just planted this one and just took root. Loen has gradually adapted to the climate on my balcony. #mysucculents #succulentlove #echeverialola

What the heck is going on?! I noticed yesterday I have a couple yellow leaves on my Echeveria Miranda, looks like leaf reabsorption, no big deal, leave it alone. I turned on my grow lights this morning & gently pinched one to see how it feels. The only way I can describe it is to say it didn't feel as firm (normal for reabsorption) but it also felt plump at the same time. That was weird. Then around where I pinched, clear liquid keeps coming out. I don't know if it's sap or water but it wasn't sticky or anything, no smell. I'm careful not to overwater, I bottom water and that was Sep. 18th, so, 16 days ago. I did have them outside all summer and finally brought them in under the lights last Monday, could it be shock? The rest of the plant is fine and the others are doing good with the transition. A few questions. It this normal? What do you think is causing this? Should I just let it leak, what do I do? Thank you! (P.S. the first pic is where it has been since I brought them inside. I planned to spin them every week.)

Any tips on propagating Echeveria? I am in love with my PVN Echeveria and would absolutely love to grow one from a little baby. How would I go about doing this? I know that you need to carefully wiggle a leaf off and use that, but how do you use it? When’s the best season? Do you propagate in water or soil? Stuff like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #Echeveria #perlevonnurnberg #Propagation #propagationnewbie
