Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Alocasia 'Mythic Tentacular' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I just repotted her in coco, perlite, bark mixture. She has some dying leaves but no root rot. She has one good leaf left. Should I cut the dying leaves or wait till fully dead?

Just a proud plant mom showing off her baby boy, Ray-Ray, the Alo-Stingray 😁🪴. I know it shows his name as “Oscar” but I decided to change it 😁. I have him outside in a very well lit but not direct sun area outside and he’s pushing out a new leaf so I’ll take that as a win 🏆

My #Alocasia Pink Dragon has bloomed! I have had alocasias bloom before, but usually, they are all white. I’ve never seen one like this! The top is neon orange, which my camera can’t seem to pick up, lol. It’s just fascinating and I wish I could stare at it all day 😍🥳🪴 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #AlocasiaAddicts #Blooming #FloweringPlants #GregGang #AlocasiaPinkDragon #babevila
