UPDATE on my Alocasia dragon scale that wasn’t doing too good: Guys! I found three little nubs poking out of the soil! Do you think they’re from corms or from the mother corm!? Can’t believe this! 😄 also, do you guys think I should cut off the remaining leaf so the plant has more energy for those nubs? The leaf has been dying for a long time now. Also, I know the soil looks dry but don’t worry it isn’t. I repotted my #Alocasia Rugosa about a month ago now and oh my goshhh look at this new leaf she’s grown! I also thought I’d attempt growing the corms I found whilst repotting her, they had me worried the first few weeks but now all 5 of them have all finally grown their first little green leaves 🥹💚 I’m such a proud #plantmum 🌱 #AlocasiaAddicts #CormClub #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation

#AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia #BlackVelvetAlocasia ok, wow. So I struggled with my #BlackVelvetAlocasia in the beginning. But now, look at that leaf!! If you look at the pic, the “parent leaf” is on the left, the older sibling in on the right, and newest leaf is in the middle. And that middle leaf is bigger that the parent. If you look at my oasis..I originally purchased this plant with 3 leaves, got down to one, someone said don’t give up and here we are with three again. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy

#StingrayElephantEar #Alocasia #AlocasiaAddicts #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth the very first picture I took when I brought Sting home was a bad one but I struggled (StRuGgLED) with this plant..I was killing the babies had when I bought..I mean, I was ready to pull my hair out. I don’t know the revelation but I repotted it amd instead of being all hovering..I say hi to it, fist bump and water when appropriate. And now, we got babies!!!!

Unfortunately….. I accidentally killed my Alocasia Polly!! 😭😭 The pot I had her in was not very good at draining, and she wasn’t getting that much light. I think that’s the reason why she died. But I have good news!! When I went to throw her away, I found 8 corms!! THEY HAVE ARRIVED. Biggest plant order… maybe in forever? #TheGreenEscape packs their things suuuuuper well but I have two small issues. In waiting to hear back from them. Lots of #alocasia and #Philodendron because um have you met me? 🤣 Unwrapped and repotted (all except the painted lady weren’t in pots at all) and #deathbycinnamon of course. Now they’ll be in quarantine for as long as I can wait. 😉 #PlantMail #NewPlants

Plant order delayed. I’m worried and stressed and annoyed. Not my seller’s fault. But this is a huge order mostly of my favorites #Alocasia in celebration of my first #ikeacabinet getting done.
