About Monstera 'Albo'
Monstera deliciosa is a species of flowering plant native to the tropical rainforests of southern Mexico down to Colombia. Both the root and leaf have a long history of use in traditional medicine. In Mexico, a leaf or root infusion is taken daily to relieve arthritis. In Martinique, the root is used in remedies for snakebites. 🤒 The holes in Monstera leaves let water drip close to the roots, and they absorb the scattered beams of sunlight that make it down through the forest canopy. Their fruit also tastes like a mix of pineapple and banana! 🍍🍌

How to fertilize Monstera 'Albo'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Monstera 'Albo' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

New plant! Hi friends! I got this little cutie today at Lowe’s and it was labeled Monstera. I’ve never owned one before so any tips or tricks would be super appreciated! Thank you in advance 😊🙏 #Monstera #HappyPlants #NewPlantMom *name to be decided suggestions welcomed*

No question, just a new plant mom and my Monstera has a new leaf and it's first with fenestriations! I don't know anyone else that would as excited by that as I am. MT previous plant experience has been the onions and potatoes that sprout in my pantry. #Monstera

Curled Down Leaf Does anyone know why 1-2 of my leaves are curled down? I think she’s just being dramatic, but not entirely sure. She’s put 4 leaves since I’ve had her. (Like 2 months) And I am getting ready to give her a bigger pot tomorrow.

Help my Thai! #monsterathaiconstellation My Monstera Thai is not doing good. I have isolated her and sprayed her with sexy plant juice spray (https://)… but still don’t know what the issue is. Any one knows?

New leaf on my Monstera Albo, I have been waiting ages. Put in a south facing window and I didn't get a new leaf for the longest time but I put it in front of a grow light and it has a beautiful new leaf popping out. One less fenestrayion than the last least but I'm just so happy to have gotten a new leaf. She must've been focusing on her roots.

I’m so proud of how much my little one has grown! 🥹 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth

Yellow growth on soil surface #Monstera having a little difficulty with this Thai con, and getting yellow growth (mold?) on the soil surface, large pot potentially a bit too large and within a foot of a window with a good screen to prevent leaf burn. Watered only when Greg reminds and humidity probed before to confirm dryness. Any thoughts on what the growth is? And from there best treatment and how to not get it in the future?

Argh! Are these fungus nats or thrips? How do I deal with this issue? Thanks! 🙏🏻 🤩

What in the dramatic is happening here?! 🤣 Backstory: I watered her last night and sprayed with systemica, and left her in this spot this morning to avoid bright light for the day and I came home to the new leaf twisted like this! Why did this happen? Is she throwing a fit because of the lower light?

Hello goodmorning everyone 🤗 does anyone know how many hours of indoor sunlight should a monsteria deliciosa and thai monsteria get ? #Monstera
