Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Humpday sure came around fast this week🙌. Its amazing how just making it a 4 day work week speeds🏎️ things along! I ended up having yesterday mostly off. After loading up and driving to my job the painters werent done. I really need to make up for it though and put in a few full days to get back on schedule. Its our coldest morning so far with a temp of 57😍 in kansasland. We have a slight warm up into the mid 80s today but then its back into the 70 s for a week or more. In case you missed them, here are a few of our AMAZING members photos from yesterday. Our first awesome plant pic is from @MariansOasis HOYA HAVEN😍 were she has ANOTHER hoya blooom. This unusual and beautiful hoya multiflora shooting star💫 is showing its love this year with ANOTHER stunning bloom. @MusicalRedmint had a busy and stressful day. When taking Mr Sleepy for his morning walk he all the sudden started hopping and whimpering! After close inspection by her loving hands, she found he had been stung on the paw by a bee😢. The poor little guy is healing up but he will be forced to wear his cone until then😤. Heres to a speedy recovery MR SLEEPY🙏! @Preciousplants1 has been caring for this magnificent ZZ plant at her home. Its gotten so full and green under her expert care. All those perfect little leaves seam to be waving and saying " your the BEST miss Sherri🤗". This absolutely majestic cortelydon australis was shared by @Sassylimey yesterday. This has been living the good life out on her patio. But with fall temps approaching it was time to make space inside for this wonderous beast! After clearing a space for it in her bathroom and hurking it into the house, she finally got it situated in its winter resting spot where im sure it will be sooo happy! Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Its Humpday and im up way to early as usual😤 but atleast it gives me plenty of time for lots of coffee. I already tried to go out to the porch this morning for my first cup but the mosquitos attacked as soon as i sat down😱! So i retreated back to my recliner for this mornings post. AND DAMN IM ITCHY😡🤷♂️😂! They got me GOOD! That little rain we had mustve got them worked up cause theyre usually not out this early. I had a pretty easy day at work yesterday and i was home by 1. I didnt do much after i got home though except nap and sit! I thought about repotting my cutlass and squamaferium philo but didnt ever get that far lol. Oh well maybe after work today. Itch itch itch😤 scratch scratch😡! NO REALLY THEY DESTROYED MY ARMS😂! ..... more coffee pause😍..... ok im back with a FULL cup🙌. We had another awesome day of photos plant tips and great convo yesterday! There were a ton of great pics to browse through but i chose these perfect 5 for this mornings line up👍. Our first photo was shared by @PrizedShadscale from her parents yard full of beautiful flowers. Im not sure of what this is? But gregs calling it a red frangipani. Whatever it is, its AMAZING🤩! I just love that leaf pattern and those simple but elegant white and yellow flowers just draw your eyes in and ignite the imagination. @Sassylimey is on PEDUNCLE WATCH😱! She says her hoya sunrise has 9!!! COUNT EM! 9!! Peduncles on it currently and as she IMPATIENTLY 🤷♂️😂 waits for them to bloom😍. Maybe if you watch them theyll open faster🤔? Jk jk ! Our 3rd photo just had to be a pet photo with that cute face🥰. This was an accidental share by @SillyPlantGirl of her precious poochie so we didnt get a name for this wonderful girl. But i figured she wouldnt mibd me sharing it! Is it me or is she looking at the camera like " really mom? MORE PICTURES!" 🤷♂️😂 you just gotta love DOGS! Photo 4 came to use from @TidyTigerpear plant oasis. This painters pallet anthurium is just a showstopper with those monsterous leaves and bright red flowers😎 (not flowers). You know that beauty gets a prime spot in the windows at her house! And this gourgeous geranium growing @Prentyce house is our last photo for the day. I thought its perfectly HOT pink huge FLOWERS matched her personality so well it had to brighten your day as much as she does! Sadly thats the end of the show😤... BUT THERES MORE COFFEE😍! My Hoya hasn't been growing AT ALL for three months. None of the nodes or areas I cut for propagation have had any growth I just checked the roots and they seem to have shriveled back quite a bit so I have repotted it in a smaller pot. Idk y Any tips? #Hoya

Let's see how much my #krimsonprincesshoya throws a fit after a #repot. As they say, if your Hoya is happy DON'T TOUCH IT, but I did. I got this as a cutting and chopped and propped it in a big pot without drainage 🥴. It started cranking out new leaves the last month or two so obviously I needed to leave it alone. But I knew this winter I wanted to sun stress it, and the pot was not only wrong but too big to put in the window well. I've been having to rotate like crazy to get touches of pink. So I did it.
