She’s a mother!! My dear PVN has a child! They grow up so fast ☺️ Could I just leave the baby with her or would it be best to remove it once she’s a bit bigger? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #Echeveria #perlevonnurnberg #babyplants #babysucculent

Why is it going up? When I got my #Echeveria it was wide a full then the middle started growing up tall. I cut it and planted it… thinking it would go wider, but I was wrong, haha. You can see the mother created a separate stem and it’s growing tall — again! And the cut that I planted is going tall-ER! (Yes I added a chopstick). And I put all the leaves that fell on some soil, so they grew roots and became independent ones that are growing tall. The question is… how to let it grow horizontally instead? 😬

So I missed an entire week of work and it was the week I needed to water my babies. They probably went without light most days. They don't get much natural light because I'm not near a window at work. #Echeveria

Echeveria in distress! Hi Plant Friends! I’m having trouble with my Echeveria Frosty. I trimmed him several months ago and propagated offshoots/leaves successfully—with help from this community! (hooray!). But the original plant now seems to be suffering—the central stem is desiccated and it looks like the shoots growing off it are putting out their own roots (they are red in the photos). Should I cut the central stalk and immerse it in soil so that the offshoots can grow? Should I cut the shoots/leaf clusters off the central stalk and plant in soil (or put roots in water to better develop)? Thank you for any advice!🙏🌱 #SucculentLove #HappyPlants #PropagationStation

Hmmmm, do I separate these three? The big one is clearly feisty. #Echeveria

This is typically how far my plants are away from my windows...too far? too close? Just want to make sure I'm giving the right amount of light. #echeveria #haworthia #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Received this little girl as an extra cutting gift from a purchase 🤗. I think she is settling in nicely despite the weather 🥶❄️🧊. One thing I like about Echeveria runyonii is that they're also called Echeveria ‘Topsy Turvy’ because their leaves look like they are upside down, which I find cute, hence why I prefer this naming 💖😊😙. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Echeveria #PlantLove #cuteafsuccs

Another one of my #EcheveriaLola 💖 this one got etiolated because it was my first #Echeveria ever, and at the time I didn’t understand just HOW much light they need! Lol! (Just to be clear, I do know now and I have dozens of happy succulents under very bright lights 😊) So I did a chop and prop. The original head is happily growing new roots in a tiny terracotta pot, and this one grew 4 new heads. #Succulents are so fascinating! And this one is now my favorite; it’s gorgeous from every angle! #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #ChopAndProp #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulent #WhatTheSucc #PlantAddict #babevila

Time to prune and restart? #SucculentLove Hi plant friends. A couple of my echevarias got leggy this spring before I found a better, sunnier spot for them, and I’d like to prune them to regain more of a rosette shape. I’m nervous though, since I’ve never done this. I think that I could dock them, cut the longer stalks into sections and perhaps create a multiple plant-scape in a large, shallow pot with new succulent soil. Any advice on the steps/stages? And what will happen to the original plant? I don’t want to kill them!😬 Thanks for sharing your experiences and support.💚 #PropagationStation
