Happy Friday Plant Peoples! 🪴🌺🌸 I found something I wanted to share with everyone! This guy has been 5 years without a single fungus gnat! 5YEARS! https:// I already have Neem cake so I’m gonna a try it (I happen to have found a silly single gnat in my house yesterday! I have only seen one, but one is too many as far as I’m concerned!) starting today! #Syngonium #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #TheWateringHole it was time to water all my Arrowhead plants today!!!! They are all looking pretty good and getting healthy again after battling a long round of thrips. I did lose 2 other plants but at least these survived!

#TheWateringHole Happy Monday to everyone at the #TheWateringHole! Hope everyone had a nice weekend with their plant oasis! We’re getting a lot of rain here, which we desperately needed. I managed to avoid having to water the outdoor flowers. Speaking of outdoor flowers, I snapped a few pics of our hosta blooms and one of our outdoor planters yesterday afternoon, but never got around to posting. The last picture is my new baby pitcher plant my stepdaughter had shipped to me. She let my hubby know she was sending a plant, but didn’t let me know what it was, so it was a #PlantMail surprise! Now I just have to study up on how to keep it alive. It’s sitting out on my front porch for now. Any tips appreciated! What’s happening at your oasis? Any new blooms, leaves, plants, pets? It’s starting to rain, almost ,every day now in Florida. Grass is, quickly, growing very high. I have a large strand of invasive cogan grass in my property. It grows by rhizomes and once it gets started, that’s it. It has been growing wild in the forest behind my house for years now it’s on my property. I gave up trying to fight it. Now all I do is mow it. #thewateringhole #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth

Hello everyone. It’s another hot one, of course, in West Central Florida. 95° with the heat index of 106. No rain yet. I’m still working outside for a while. I bought a new Desert Rose and a beautiful pot, for it to go in, yesterday. Now I have three desert rose plants. Wishing the whole gang a Happy Juneteenth! I was off work today so I got to do some traipsing about the five boroughs..alright only three. I’ve been on the prowl for those new Climb-Itt poles for my BMF for the longest time and I can’t find them!! However, I DID see them in the wild for the first time today - literally, as they had Silver Swords growing on them. I considered buying and de-mounting the Philo but that just seemed rude. The search continues. Has anyone tried them?? While I was in Home Depot, I also ran into this guy that I thought I had to share. I was shocked because normally around here, $50 gets you just one little stem that looks like someone propped and stuck in soil - no branching or anything. And this one had THREE branched Euphorbia Ghosts in the pot (albeit needed some TLC). I didn’t get it because I couldn’t think of where I’d put it. Now I am back home and reminded of those wise words - “If you practice self-restraint, you’ll gain regret.” 😂 @Idplantthat #thewateringhole

My Mandevilla #BrazilianJasmine has taken off like its name Rocket and is flowering beautifully. I’ve had him a few years now. I love how he’s wrapped around the decorative lattice and growing up over the patio cover. Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a great day and you and your plants are growing. I visited the county master gardeners’s nursery this morning. I bought another giant plum ginger and a passion vine. I am going to start building a couple of these tables for my plants. I thought I would share it here. Here’s what they use in their nursery, two by fours and hardware cloth which is quarter inch chicken wire supported by cinder blocks. The dimensions are 8 foot long by 22 inches wide . Monstera problems I repotted my monstera a few weeks back, thought she’s enjoy a good soaping from the rain and now my leaves are turning yellow. 🥲I don’t know if it’s fungus because she only a little damp not wet inside. #Philodendron My two new philos! I’m upset my El Choco Red is a little damaged with washed out color so I hope I can get it to come back. This Black Cardinal on the other hand is gorgeous!
