Iā€™ve been repotting for the last few days, and Iā€™ll tell you Iā€™m exhausted šŸ„±. Also trying to keep up with a ten-year-old; even with my coffee, it wasnā€™t enough. šŸ¤£šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø Jeez; no, Iā€™m just feeling old. šŸ˜… But we are here for the plants, so here are a few Iā€™ve been working on. My adorable little niece was over today helping me plant and clean up part of the greenhouse, and she brought some of her plants she needed to transplant. She was so excited to bring them over, and she reminded me I promised her she could have one of my caramel marble philodendrons, so she picked out which one, and Iā€™m now acclimating to house conditions. So when they get back from a family vacation to Greenland (lucky ducks!), sheā€™ll take it home. She told me today when she grows up she wants to be a landscape architect šŸ¤£šŸ«¶šŸ»ā˜ŗļøšŸŒøšŸ I love this girl. Iā€™m sure it will all change when sheā€™s ten, but oh my goodness, I love her. Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Here is my first batch of habanero peppers. Often what I do is I dry them in the oven. Grind them up. This time I think Iā€™m gonna add a little red curry to them. Then put them then put them in a shaker. Sometimes I grill them with olive oil and a little salt. Hello everyone, here is a before and after photo of my Persian shield plant. This is the plant that was eaten by a rat in March. I thought the plant was finished. Fortunately, I did see little green leaves which can be seen in this photo and I thought I would try to save it. The photo on the left was just after it was eaten. The newest Hoyas arrived today, along with my replacement for an orange tree that had to be replaced from bad shipping as before. Just wanted to share what my propagation station/baby plant nursery/plant standby spot where they live before finding a permanent spot in my room lol! I took this picture just now during the first half of the day so itā€™s a bit darker, but this spot gets super bright inderect light towards the second half of the day. Itā€™s a great spot for propagations and baby plants because they get really nice lighting thatā€™s not too harsh.
