I’ve been out all day working in the yard planting and weeding, watering, plus you all the rest. Anyway, thought I’d share some banana pics and others. I’m so excited for my “comebacks!” The first two are Variegated Fallopia Multiflora. I love the Fallopia, it literally sparkles ✨ The other two are my sweet comeback alocasias. One of my favorite alocasias is Variegated Alocasia baginda 'Dragon Scale' (Mint/Aurea variant). Lastly is a Stardust Alocasia. ☺️ Does anyone else have some comebacks, or cuttings you are doing? Share your comebacks and let us know how you did it. I think we can learn and improve no matter the skill level. Alocasia love! I’m so excited my Alocasia chantrieri pink variegated picture one is coming in beautifully! Then you can see the baby Yucatán, the metallic blue, and a few others! The next one over is a Thomas Alocasia, tattoo, and a red mamba variegated, Azlanii pink, and Azlanii gold, and a couple of others. My largest alocasia is about 2 ft tall with legs and about 10-inch leaves. So excited to see my greenhouse in a happier place! I’m sure, like so many of us, we are trying to counter all this crazy weather. It’s been so unpredictable; we’ve gone from a couple of days into the 80’s to freezing again! Which isn’t uncommon for Utah weather… but omg my poor plants. 🌱 😂 So we got smart and put a heat-reflecting greenhouse tarp over the roof. I can’t believe how much it lowers the heat! So happy to have done it.
