I got sweet pea flowers; I love the smell of sweet pea flowers. While they are super toxic to our furry friends, my dogs and cats have shown zero interest. Thank goodness! 😅 We now have sweet pea photos! Anyone growing sweet peas or anything else that smells so yummy and delicious? 😋 Ps- I’m so anxious today 😬 I’m supposed to have my soil delivery and my last thing I need for my water before I water my plants tonight. It’s Wednesday at #TheWateringHole 🌿🌤️ Good morning everybody, or should I say good day [good evening, and goodnight!] ? After several days of ~95° 🥵 I am so very very grateful to be back down in the 70°s 😮‍💨 My plants, however, thought it was swell! As I was moving around my plants this morning I was thinking about the satisfying little tasks of plant care that are delightful. For me, one of my favorites is plucking off the totally brown and dried-up sheathes of cane begonia leaves. No force necessary, once they are brown and shriveled, I just touch them and they fall off in my hands. And I don’t *have* to do this, as they will fall off eventually by themselves, but it brings me joy. 🥰 Another one is when I water, and the saucer fills up but does not overflow, and later when I go to check all the water was sucked back up and the pot is the perfect “well-watered weight.” Do you have any small plant care tasks or activities that give you satisfaction or delight? Had to repot my Snake rosettes because they were popping up out of the soil. Today I come out to water and I have a little pup!! I did not see it when I repotted- but it was there because I took a photo after I finished. Hi all, need some advice for my Swiss Cheese plant. Got it from Greg shop. It was full and beautiful and doing great outside…took it inside for winter and I almost lost it- my house is very dark-but I have many grow lights. Spring came and she went outside. I got into Electroculture- put one in her soil- and this big stinker has blown up. It has 5 huge new growths, each on very leggy stems….12+ inches. I’d love to propagate- but I’ve never done it. I’ll show pics. Do I cut the whole long stem? Where do I cut? Omg, I had never seen a baby bumblebee (he’s so tiny) before, until this AM, as my cactus flower began its’ ascension.
