Roots growing UP?! Last week I took a couple of stems from my Pink Princess Philo, and put them in water, hoping for new roots. Chamging the water, the new roots caught my eye. I did not know these guys roots- grow UPwards!! I’m a new Alocasia Polly owner- I noticed she was starting to droop so I watered her 2 days ago thinking she was thirsty. She is even more droopy now. Her soil feels dry. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, any suggestions? Update on the flower. It’s rooting! I have it in a shotglass XD, please do ignore that. Anyway, I was changing out the water before I leave to be seven hours away for three days, and I saw a little root! Yay!! And, to my surprise and in the same week, I believe one aerial root is going underground and one young stem is coming back up to, I suppose, start a new individual. Am I correct? Happy days!

Good Evening, I love coming home to things like this- so I thought I’d share. Major progress on the Mint monstera. I’m 2 treatments into the Captain Jacks copper fungicide treatment and it seems to be working great. I was very unimpressed with the state of the this plant , but now I am happy. I think there’s a teeny fenestration that I see ?!😲. Anyways, I hope you had a great day!
