Omg, I had never seen a baby bumblebee (he’s so tiny) before, until this AM, as my cactus flower began its’ ascension. Happy Wednesday at #TheWateringHole my lovely plant people 🤍🌿 The last few days have been quite hot, so I am actually so thankful to see that starting tomorrow it looks like we’re due for almost a week of rain 😮‍💨 🙌 I have not done any laundry, or much else around the house because of the heat. 🥵 I have spent some time checking on my cucumeris mites though 🤓 I just love them. It’s supposed to be less than 90°F/32°C today, so today I play catch-up. Luckily for me, my adhd brain takes that as a challenge. 3 days of work in a few hours? Challenge accepted!! For pictures, we’ve got a new tortum leaf, a ridiculously long latifolia vine that I very much need to make a trellis for, some broadmite ICU patients (my poor beauty star 😭 but she’s hanging on! ) and an excellent microscope that attaches to your phone making taking and sharing pictures a piece of cake, and a picture from said microscope. Green circle is my beneficial predatory mite; the N. cucumeris, and red circle is a feeder mite. ⏱️Want to be notified of these posts when they come out? Cantaloupe for Days!! I started these as seeds in May. By the end of May they had to be put in the ground. Hubby built me 2 “Teepees” for all the plants to grow up on, rather than take over the yard lol. Now- I have 28 Melons!! This is Biancé, just like Beyoncé but different lol I grew her from two #MonsteraAureaMamorata #nodes. She is technically two plants in one but I love the fullness so I’m gonna leave them together. She is truly my pride and joy. I absolutely love her. She legit gives me two leaves every 7-10 days! She was my one first #Node2Leaf plants. Hello everyone, I had a wonderful day yesterday and my birthday. We went down to Tarpon Springs for dinner and then went out to Anclote key, which is one of my favorite places. Anclote Key is located 4 miles offshore in the Gulf from Tarpon Springs, Florida and is only accessible by boat. It finally came! Well, one part; the last part of my soil mix.
