Hi everyone!! Long time no see sorry we’ve been pretty busy 😅 hope y’all are doing great! we’re still planting away!! I just had to share my kitchen plants; I’m so excited about these babies! That and my Prestonia quinquangularis is finally making her beautiful comeback! When she arrived, she had terrible travel shock, and I lost her to the point of a single stem. She’s finally looking better. I’m so excited. My majestic philodendron started opening into new, gorgeous, bigger leaves. I love my pink plants. So don’t be surprised if you see more pinks 🫶🏻🌸🩵🐾🪴 My citruses arrived today! So excited. It’s a Dwarf Buddha Hand Citrus Tree; Rio Red Grapefruit; Sunquat Tree; Marumi Kumquat; Fukushu Kumquat Tree; Eustis Limequat Tree, and then my caladium bulbs. Good morning plant friends, especially ficus moonshine and ficus plant lovers! Just wanted to share my gorgeous Ficus Moonshine BUSH with so much different variegation (in my bedroom under a Sansi 24 Watt Grow Light 💡) 😍 It started out as 2 seperate tiny little 3-4 inch bushes, one of which grew new baby branches and mini leaves. I recently combined them together when they outgrew both their pots to make it bushier. Now in a 7 inch pot — soon to be a floor plant and eventually a very colorful bushy tree — next to my Ficus Tineke Tree/Bush! Yay! I’m so excited to get my Boswellia sacra outside and into the sun. She’s loving it. If you don’t recognize the plant name by the genius, it’s commonly known as Frankincense, the sacred frankincense. Frankincense is an amazing plant for its resin, otherwise known as “tears,” is considered the finest in the world; but for anyone who prefers to use homeopathic remedies, it’s highly recommended. Heyyy! I absolutely know I’m going to forget to post in the morning, so I’m getting it in early for #FreshLeafFriday (are those still a thing? I’ve been so out of the loop) 🪴 Without further ado: new leaves (first one open; second one still furled) on my burgundy #Ficus. These are the first new leaves in a LONG time—it did not get enough light in that tiny apartment I just left! Now it has front row seats to the sunrise every morning 🌅 Then, we have my rehabilitated variegated #StringOfPearls, which a friend gave to me in a sad, shriveled little vine with one lonely root. Now look at it go! 😊 Bonus pics to use all 5 spaces (why not?): watered all my growing babies and #Propagation s this morning. I love these cute 1” clear plastic pots! They are perfect for propagating! I’ve had a busier day today; it’s been cooler, so I’ve been taking advantage and starting seeds for my family’s different gardens. Hopefully, they all make a decent start 🤞. I’ve had a couple of nights of frost, and all my plants I can’t cover have just bombed in leaves. We got our heat-reflective sun tarps up, so I’ve been moving things in and out of the garage all day.
