Hello everyone. It’s another hot one, of course, in West Central Florida. 95° with the heat index of 106. No rain yet. I’m still working outside for a while. I bought a new Desert Rose and a beautiful pot, for it to go in, yesterday. Now I have three desert rose plants. HELP!!! My plant is starting to look dull and dry and i just got it on Wednesday 😩 i did repot it and made the mistake of not putting it into a pot with drain holes. Could that be the only reason? i’ll insert before and after pictures

Omg 🙈 my family got home at 3 a.m. this morning, and my niece was calling me at 9 a.m. to come get her so she could come steal my plants. 😂✨ She’s too cute! 🥰 Anyway, had to share my buddies I’ve been working on the last couple of days. It’s a little wild, but I was out working, and then all of a sudden they changed, and it was hailing. My Mandevilla #BrazilianJasmine has taken off like its name Rocket and is flowering beautifully. I’ve had him a few years now. I love how he’s wrapped around the decorative lattice and growing up over the patio cover. Happy Wednesday at #TheWateringHole my lovely plant people 🤍🌿 The last few days have been quite hot, so I am actually so thankful to see that starting tomorrow it looks like we’re due for almost a week of rain 😮‍💨 🙌 I have not done any laundry, or much else around the house because of the heat. 🥵 I have spent some time checking on my cucumeris mites though 🤓 I just love them. It’s supposed to be less than 90°F/32°C today, so today I play catch-up. Luckily for me, my adhd brain takes that as a challenge. 3 days of work in a few hours? Challenge accepted!! For pictures, we’ve got a new tortum leaf, a ridiculously long latifolia vine that I very much need to make a trellis for, some broadmite ICU patients (my poor beauty star 😭 but she’s hanging on! ) and an excellent microscope that attaches to your phone making taking and sharing pictures a piece of cake, and a picture from said microscope. Green circle is my beneficial predatory mite; the N. cucumeris, and red circle is a feeder mite. ⏱️Want to be notified of these posts when they come out? It was all quiet on the home front tonight cuz hubby is sick and dogs are in their beds! I bought a fairy or terrarium pack of 6 when I bought some other plants from Etsy. They got here a few days ago. They are so cute and so tiny!!. I finally potted them late this evening while it was quiet. Now I’m tired and I have work tomorrow. Everything looks pretty 👍🏻, let’s hope they all grow!! Hello and calling all #hoyaheads in the US. Just want to let you know about an awesome shop I found on Palmstreet…after I finally figured out how it worked . (It’s generally way too stimulating for me 🤪) Now I just have this shop The Hoya Heaux (🤣🤣🤣) bookmarked, and don’t use anything else. It’s a small family business selling both unrooted and nicely-rooted hoya cuttings and small plants. Everything I’ve got from them has been exceptionally healthy, unique, and packed well, and usually between $1-20 😱 Anyhoo, their next “live” is this Friday 6/26 at 8:30pm CST. It’s Monday at #TheWateringHole and I’m unmotivated… thinking I need a new hashtag like #UnMotivatedMonday or #MopeyMonday 😮‍💨 We’ve got #untidyTuesday so why not!?!🥴Typically I’ve got pics of pretty new things doin’ their thang, but lately not so much 🤷‍♀️ 🤪. I think the recent mealy bug/thrip discovery has left me feeling deflated. It won’t last but it’s a real thing for me, now & then. Figuring others probably feel this way too sometimes. It’s not always ☀️ 🌈 & 💐 people, right? 🤪 So rant over (I’m feeling better already 🫣) and here’s a pic of one of my plants that’s got his #UnMotivatedMonday going on too! Syngoniums were OG plants for me, 💚 them! Then slowly they all turned into long stringy, pathetic vines. I got rid of all but this bitty Panda. We both have #MopeyMonday. I need motivation. She never gets long enough to chop & prop. She did pop a new leaf up at the soil line so I’m hopeful there🤞. Anything going on in your oasis that’s got you feeling frustrated or defeated?
