My Meyer Lemon showed up at the exact same time as my Calamondin...3 plus months ago. I thought since I shared the status of my Calamondin I'd share the Meyers status. Both are doing well and doubled or more in size. I hope they stay happy. 😆

#Cannagirl I have two different kinds of Cannalily that I started from seed one is it called a Cleopatra canna and the other is a red cardinal Canna. They seem to be doing well I’m just wondering do they look like they’re ready to go in my potter for the season yet? I’ve been slowly hardening them off and today was the first day. I had them out literally since 10 AM this morning it’s now almost 6 PM. One got a little sunburnt, but that was from a previous trip outside. Everything seems OK today I’m going to post a picture and please let me know what you guys think and how many more days should I leave them outside or bring them inside to keep them safe but still harden them off so they’re ready to get planted thank you in advance

Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Here is my first batch of habanero peppers. Often what I do is I dry them in the oven. Grind them up. This time I think I’m gonna add a little red curry to them. Then put them then put them in a shaker. Sometimes I grill them with olive oil and a little salt. Rule of thumb! ALWAYS repot your nursery plants. It’s not blasted everywhere so everyone thinks nurseries are out to get them by intentionally killing their plants so they have to buy a new one after a few months. But that’s really not the case! Stock sits at wholesalers for months in the same pots. Overtime the potting media wears down, breaks down and fills up the pore space where oxygen should be, making the soil heavily compacted. By the time it gets to a nursery and then sits in the stock, it might of been in that same pot to up to a year. The roots are yearning for more room, the soil is basically dead dirt at that point, and ur plant is starving & suffocating. They will always appreciate a repot as soon as it’s settled into your environment. And if you’re too nervous to do it, just ask your local nursery worker - we do it allll the time and most of us are happy to help :) (please note not ALL plants will come like this, sometimes they’ve been recently repotted or other factors, but you can really tell, the mix will be fluffy and fresh still, compacted soil is bouncy and stuck together) Hello people reading this! my names Isabelle, I’ve been a silent observer throughout my studies and I’m feeling confident enough to share what I have learnt and what I will continue to learn throughout my endeavours #pottingadvice #PlantTips #advice #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #NewPlantMom #Horticulture #Soils

#TheWateringHole Good Afternoon everyone, hope everyone is having a productive Saturday so far! I know, I know I said no more plants! But I spent a couple of sleepless nights and that did it! Two more cacti arrived last Wednesday. The Teddy bear Cholla, and a Vatiegated Crown of Thorns. Making that the third one in my cacti collection. That’s enough crown of thorns for now. But that’s not all, since there are three more cacti on the way, from California. I don’t generally like to get plants from that far away, but cacti mongers in CA tend to have some of the best specimens out there! The previous two came from right here in FL and arrived within 3 days! Well now I‘m patiently awaiting the arrival oft the rest. Now there are 7 plants vying for attention, down from39 yesterday! That’s enough“geschwafel“ on my part hope y’all have a marvelous rest of your weekend and stay safe!

Got my work cut out for me today. We’ve been having a two week period of rain that has kept the greenhouse cool but encouraged MEALYBUGS! I’m thinking about not only isolating the two or three that are getting little spots, but treating everyone with alcohol as a deterrent.
