Should I transplant to bigger plant pot?

@DeanWoreya49 I usually only repot when my plants are busting out of their pots because of their root growth, or when Iβm annoyed that Iβve had to be watering much more frequently.
@DeanWoreya49 it depends what the roots and the soil looks like. Rule of thumb is usually to repot your plants every 1-2 years but the plant may need a new pot sooner. I just repotted both of mine. I went from 6 to 8 inch on one and I went to a 10 inch pot with the other. I had roots protruding from the bottom of both but Iβve only had each plant 6 months.
I would try and check the roots. Thatβs usually how I can tell. I will say, pothos will grow to fill thier pot. So it may be stuck in its growth because of the size. I had mine in a smaller pot for months with literally no growth. I finally repotted it and itβs double in size in like maybe 2 months. It looks like itβs probably ready to be repotted.
Hi Bernie, yes, I would say repot into a bigger pot, but not too big. Just a little bit bigger than the pot that itβs in. If the pot is οΏΌ too big a the plant will focus more on root development then growth. Also check to see if the roots are growing out of the bottom of the pot. Thatβs a sure sign that the Plant is root bound. When you take it out of the pot if the roots are circled around and around gently loosen the soil up. I take the palm of my hand and tap the soil loose. οΏΌ good luck. π
I say yes the pot looks like the exact size of the plant don't get a pot too big if you do transplant 1-2 more inches, I just got into planting tho
