Finding light for Amydrium in your home
a window
Amydrium may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Amydrium in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Amydrium
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Amydrium after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Update!! Yesterday i asked about adding a moss pole to my Rui (amydrium), and i added my moss pole!☺️ im excited to see her climb!! Thanks for all the advice
-
Should i add a moss pole? I didn't realize this was a climbing plant until now. Their root system isn't at the point of a repot but i do want to add a moss pole to help her climb. Should i just add one into the same size pot?

How can I help my Amydrium thrive? I'm very new to all "Monstera type" plants and I got this as an extra cutting when I ordered a lot of other plants. Any tips are greatly appreciated :) The root(?) has grown very long very fast and I'm wondering should I do something to it? #amydrium

Long runner growth #AmydriumMediumSilver #amydrium #planthelp #MossPole what do you do when it shoots out a runner this long? I should’ve put it on a pole sooner, should I chop the runner to prop but keep enough to put it on a pole?
-
Too many runners, not enough leaves I have an Amydrium medium silver, and she had some good growth for a while, even the start of fenestrations. But now, all I'm getting are these unsightly runners. Is there something I can do to encourage foliage growth? I feed and keep her watered as needed. She sits near an east-facing window in my bathroom. #amydriummediumsilver #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

Tips browning and yellowing not sure why? Some of the leave tips on this baby amydrium are turning yellow and crispy brown. I water once a week and it’s a couple feet from a south east window which gets an hour maybe of direct light. Want to try and catch whatever I’m doing before it gets worse.

Sometimes the leaves are so beautiful, you feel good every time you look at them. I love my Amydrium Medium so much!! Getting ready to pole her up to see if I can get some good growth of mature leaves come spring!
