Should i add a moss pole?

Question

I didn't realize this was a climbing plant until now. Their root system isn't at the point of a repot but i do want to add a moss pole to help her climb. Should i just add one into the same size pot?

You can do a moss pole, or even with just how small the pot is, you can do a bamboo stick with a little plant twist or clips. 😉 It might be easier at this point. Then when her roots develop more and you transplant, then I’d add one. But that’s just me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, let her CLIMB. She'll only develop huge fenestrations when climbing. Like this huge Amydrium medium [maybe not this big, but still]

Give her something to climb. I would add moss pole to outside of the pot to not disturb the roots.

That’s such a healthy Amydrium ‘Spider Man’! You can definitely add a moss pole even without repotting, just insert it gently to avoid damaging the roots. I recently saw this plant on MyGreenScape, and they mentioned it really takes off once it starts climbing. It’s a fun one to grow!
