Why so droopy?

Hey all - can anyone help me figure out why this poor guy is looking so sad? too much water, not enough water, too much sun, something else?
4ft to light, direct
18” pot with drainage
Last watered 6 days ago

You have a Gorgeous Dracaena. I also agree with @Lifeis2short. Your plant is also sensitive to the chemicals in tap water. I hope your plant will make a speedy recovery.
@Beanaford my first thought is the heater vent it's sitting next to. The brown spots look crispy and best I can tell are mainly on that one side. Try moving it away from the vent and see if that helps
@Lifeis2short I agree!!
Maybe that’s from the sun? I should’ve prefaced that I haven’t had the ac or heat on at all since September! But I do get a lot more sunlight in this new apartment vs the one hour this guy got used to in my old one. Could that be the culprit?
@Beanaford yes that could absolutely be the problem, especially if the move was recent. And like @Ada3 said, they are very sensitive to the chemicals in tap water so it's best to use filtered water. Generally, though, mostly the tips of the leaves turn brown if it's a problem with the chemicals in the water you use.
May I please add that it might be time for a repot? I see how the plant looks on the plant card and now it looks more than TWICE as big! Perhaps the nutrients in the soil are no longer sufficient to sustain the plant's growth. (:

Keep us posted!
The water! That definitely makes sense! I’ve repotted twice as it’s grown a lot since that early photo but the real change has been the water and the increased light. Will try filtered water! Thanks everyone! ❀️
It needs to be misted. My Tornado gets brown spots when I don't mist for a week. Also, I "hide" him behind other plants so he doesn't have to tolerate it, and again, throw a tantrum of brown leaves. This is a jungle floor plant.
Best of luck and Happy Holidays.
Doesn't have to tolerate the grow lamp. (Shhhh..the grow light is not his friend)
@Beanaford If you only have a few plants, filtered water works!!
Our tap water stinks like chlorine and is full of fluoride. I must fill containers (usually 2 quart or 2 gallon plastic watering "cans" and let them sit overnight (near a baseboard which keeps the water relatively warm in our New England temps). We must filter all our drinking water...we're very used to that. Just a suggestion. Perhaps you can Google info about that?
Thanks everyone for your tips! I use filtered water now AND moved him out of the sun (apparently they’re not a fan- oops). And he’s looking so much healthier! Thanks again!
