How to fertilize Pilea inaequalis

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pilea inaequalis after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Just brought my friendship plant home the other day and the leaves started turning brown… any recommendations? #Pilea

Just picked this guy up a couple weeks ago, and now all the tips of his leaves are browning.. Anyone know why he's unhappy? Chunky soil mix, with perlite, coco husks and regular soil. Placed on the window sill for plenty of sun. Water once a week. #Pilea

Do Moon Valley plants go dormant? Mine was super lush until fall/winter and now it’s barely hanging on. #Pilea

Money plant spotting My Pilea puts out babies all the time and I admittedly neglect the army of mini money plants in my windowsill from time to time. I checked one plant that appears healthy with the exception of these two leaves. What’s it telling me? #Pilea #help

Don’t mind the algae. Thinking of potting my #Pilea up! Those roots are looking great! It took SO long for them to grow and I was worried for a while but I just had to let it take its time. :) #PileaPeperomioides #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #BeforeAndAfter #PlantLove #TropicalPlants #Hydroponics #ThanksForPhotosynthesis

The time has finally come to pot up my #PileaPeperomioides ! I put him in aqua soil from an old fish tank I used to have. I put it in a small dish of water to keep it hydrated and I’m gonna slowly ween him off the water over time. It’s been a big journey to get to this point. I really hope he does well. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #BeforeAndAfter #PlantLove #TropicalPlants #Pilea #Hydroponics #ThanksForPhotosynthesis #QuickGrowingPlants

Leaves Turing brown 😞 not sure what’s going on. It’s mostly the bottom leaves. I’m not sure if they are mature and need to go. The rest looks healthy… any advice? #Pilea
