How to fertilize Chinese Peony
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Chinese Peony after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Peony appreciation!!! The home I currently live in was built in the late 50s. Owned by one family before we purchased. The owners passed away and the property went to their two sons. After a few years, their sons decided to sell the home. I loved the house right away. Little did I know until after we purchased it, that their mother had planted peonies years ago! Look how beautiful 😍 there's five or six different varieties. One peony bush didn't bloom yet. So I didn't take a picture of that. But here is each variety. And the scent is divine. The varieties identified so far are... Festiva Maxima Jacorma Jules Elie Sarah Bernhardt Cinnabar Ramparts I hope I'm not wrong on any of these IDs. If I am, please correct me 🙂 #peonyseason #peonies #peony

Happy hump day #GregGang 💚 Wanted to share some outdoor gardening photos from the past week. I planted a bunch of coleus in me & my boyfriends front yard, (pic 1) as well as some Angelonia (pic 4) . We have planted some other things as well, I can’t wait for them to fill out.. Picture two, are peony flowers & spyria flowers cut from my mom’s yard. Picture 3 is my cat Dinky taking a cat nap in one of our garden beds, he was so deep in them, I couldn’t even see him lol. #CatsOfGreg #catsandplants #PetsAndPlants #PetsOfGreg And picture 5 is Larkspur, which my mom has grown every year since we started growing things by seed in the yard. This is our fourth year 🙌🏻 I love larkspur it’s such a pretty wildflower ! I have so many other awesome flower photos, but I’ll have to share in another post. Hope everyone is enjoying Mother Nature! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #OutdoorGrowing #outdoorgardens #OutsidePlants #NewGrowth #FloweringPlants #flowerpower #Peony #WildFlowers #Larkspur #Coleus #PlantLove

A fun #freshleaffriday post! First up, my #calatheafreddie is in bloom! I repot it three weeks ago so I have no idea how this happened 🤦🏽 the blooms are short lived, you can see the old and new ones in the close up photo. But the SCENT! It is incredible and so strong! 😍 I moved my #goldenpothos outside for the summer. I've been carefully turning it so it doesn't get sunburned and becomes fuller evenly. But, it seems some birds had other plans. So Pat, my 30+ year old golden is growing in a different way and 🤞🏼 he comes out stronger! Finally, some peony perfection from my garden 🤤. #calatheacrew #plantsinbloom #blooming #pothospack #pothos #plantfriends #outdoorgrowing #peony #happyplants 🌱 #NewEnglandGregGang 🌱 #NortheastGregGang 🌱 #MaineGang 🌱 #ThePlantMompy
