What is happening with my Madagascar Jewel? It was doing marvelous and now the lower leaves are all yellow!!! There was a while that I was very sick and failed to water anything for quite awhile... could this be from underwatering??? There's new growth in the top but I'm absolutely heartbroken!!! HELP!!! It was watered on October 3, and the soil is damp...(pic 1 is tonight and pic 2 is from July 2025)

This is my Crown or Queen of Thorns. I’ve done everything I’ve read about on how to take care of it but it continues to drop have yellow leaves and drop leaves. ??? I’m at a loss. I haven’t overwatered either. So I’m not sure what the deal is. Help! #Euphorbia

Place the plant in direct light and it will drop a bottom leaf as fast as a new one appears. Place it in filtered indirect light and it will quit losing leaves and will put out amazingly large leaves so quick that it seems it can hardly keep up with itself!
