Black Margin Hoya Parasitica
About Black Margin Hoya Parasitica
With over 500 species and even more cultivars, there's a Hoya out there for everyone! They're native to Southeast Asia and their common name, waxplant, refers to their thick, waxy leaves which help them retain water in the heat. They're excellent climbers and will take off if you give them a trellis to grow on. Their other-worldly, star-shaped flowers are often fragrant and come in brilliant shades of red, pink, yellow, and more!

How to fertilize Black Margin Hoya Parasitica

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Black Margin Hoya Parasitica after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

How do I make her stop? 😅🌸 My #Hoya Mathilde keeps putting out new #peduncles, and now the oldest leaves are turning yellow... I suspect she is putting ALL her energy into making #flowers, so what to do? 🥴🍃🪴 It's my first year with basically all my hoyas throwing out peduncles, and I'm slightly panicking 🤣🌸 She is in #pon and has a big water reservoir, and has been like that since last year, happily #growing. 💧 Her #roots look really good and healthy. Could it just be that she wants to be up potted to something bigger? 🤔 I have had flatmites on a little handful of hoyas, but I have looked her over carefully with a loupe and can't find anything 😬🪴✨️ #hoyahangout #hoyaheads #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #planttherapy

HAPPY WEDNESDAY #brunchataudreys Either my days are mixed up or the plants days are mixed up because last time I checked it was NOT #FreshLeafFriday but damn, the plants seem to think otherwise 😂 🍓I’d like to take a moment to appreciate the first leaf my Strawberry Shake Philodendron has put it out in nearly a year 😂 I think I finally figured out what this bb wants & she even has another new leaf coming through (you can’t see it yet, it’s tucked in the stem of another leaf) but holy crap does this plant require some light 😫 🌞 - Monstera Burle Marx Flame TC has also given another leaf which I am so stoked about, this dude really is a slow grower 😂 - Ficus Ruby 💎 is enjoying the gorgeous SW facing sun we’ve had this past week as well! She got moved outside as of two days ago to really soak it all in & hopefully get more pinky color to her 🤩 Well, that’s all for now folks! Have a great day on purpose 😇 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregPlantShop #TheThread #Philodendron #AlocasiaAddicts #HoyaHangout #PlantAddict
