To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Desert Candle Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Can someone please help me! My milk tree cactus is not doing good. It is not root rot. Idk if it’s the lighting or being spayed by gnat killer for indoor plants. #Euphorbia

Hello everyone. This euphorbia acrurensis has 4 trunks that I assume are growing out from one root ball. I want to split them into four individual plants. My question is would splitting the root ball or just cutting trunks at soil level work best? All of it would be new experience for me. Maybe i should try both approaches. Thx for your input. (p.s., tips on soil would also be useful)
