How to fertilize Crested Frosty Echeveria
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Crested Frosty Echeveria after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Yet another rescue purchase; and now? Meet Esperanza, the saddest plant at the grocery store last night. Figured her best shot at survival was in my house, but now that I've gotten her home and cleaned out the pot debris... whew. Thoughts? Should I just try to salvage that single large leaf, or can this leggy, lopsided sweetie be saved? #Echeveria

A little late to the #whatthesuccwednesday festivities, but wanted to post one for the rescuers from Gomez and especially Esperanza, who just wanted to remind everyone that sometimes it really does work out. (And that funny-looking-but-thriving is a perfectly reasonable way of being.) As summer approaches and it becomes clear which of my own rescues probably won't recover entirely from their earlier experiences (looking at you right now, Honey and Fancy), sometimes it's good to celebrate the successes.

Espy? Espy?! WHAT IS HAPPENING! ESPY!!! 😱 I was gone for four days and I come back to this! Solutions, interpretations, anything?! She's near a window but it's warmish in her spot, and all the plants around her seem entirely unbothered...

Is my echeveria okay? The bottom leaves of my echeveria are all becoming squishy and yellow. She is a new plant + I just repotted her (bought her online bare rooted) so I assume this is mostly normal but I want to make sure since it is a significant amount of leaves.. it can’t be root rot as she has only been watered once along with her being in a sunny window/porous pot with drainage. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #RarePlants #Echeveria #help #helpneeded

My Echeveria subsessilis ramped up its leaf cannibalization a month ago and its first full set of pups popped out! Just need one more to complete the circle. 😊 #Echeveria #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #NewGrowth #HappyPlants

Forgot to post these the other day, for #WhatTheSuccWednesday #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday 💚 1. Varigated Melon Spurge, her baby is getting so big! If I wanted to ever separate them, how would I go about that? Would I slice it off with a clean tool? Or would I kinda tug and twist it ? Should I wait for it to get bigger ? I normally don’t separate my babies/pups but I would love to have another one of these! 2. Graptoveria ‘Opalina’ , I love how she is constantly changing colors! 3. Crown Of Thorns ‘Bicolor’ , I’m still learning her habits & preferences, I currently have her outside in full sun, and water once a week because she seems to get droopy pretty quick if I don’t. I bottom soak her and let her dry out completely before I water again. Any tips on this one would be appreciated! 🌱 4. Prolific Echeveria, it’s grown lots of of babies, but there is this one super long growth & I’m not sure what that’s about. This emerged around the same time it flowered, at first I thought it was another flower stalk, but it’s not clearly 🤣 I’m just wondering why it’s so long ? It gets plenty of light, I didn’t know if there was a name or reason for this? Her other babies are much more compact and closer to the mother. 5. Cliff cotyledon, so cute & chonky 🤗 lots of new growth! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Succulent #GrowingSuccs #SuccerForSucculents #Echeveria #CactusClique #Cactus #Cacti #cacticollect #CrownOfThorns #Cotyledon #Graptoveria #OutdoorGrowing #OutsidePlants #PlantTherapy #PlantLove

Salvageable? Started as a healthy - albeit top heavy - #Echeveria. The plant keeled over and split in half. Did a nice 90 degree for a clean cut. Is there any way to salvage? I put the top half in water. #PlantTherapy
