About Crassula clavata
Plants in the Crassula genus are amazingly diverse and come in an incredible assortment of sizes and colors. Many of the ones we grow today are native to a small region in South Africa, which makes that diversity even more amazing! They're super low maintenance plants that can handle long periods of drought, so great if you're prone to skipping waters (we won't tell). 🫢 Make sure they get plenty of sunlight and that they're planted in a pot with a drainage hole and they'll be happy as can be!

How to fertilize Crassula clavata

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Crassula clavata after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Soil mix for Jade props? I have one stem cutting and 3 leaf cuttings from a jade, does anyone have any recommendations for a soil mix for propagation? On hand I have cactus and succulent potting mix, seedling starting mix, indoor potting mix, perlite, orchid bark, and some random gravel and pebbles from the dollar store. I'm not opposed to buying something new but would prefer to use what I already have. Thanks! #Crassula #CrassulaOvata

My plant grew these weird roots on one of the stalks. I was underwatering it for a while, when I finally learned to water properly the other stalks recovered but this one didn't. Any ideas what to do with it? #Crassula

So when I was watering my Jade today I noticed under one of the leaves some roots, what should I do about it, if anything. #Crassula

I have 6 very young jade plants. They’re about 4-5 inch’s tall. Do I put each one in its own pot or can I group some together? New to this hobby! They’re doing great! Already have new growth on each of them. Helen #Crassula
