Why leafs get yellow? #Taro grows a new leaf, but after some days and old one get yellow and I need to cut it. Help! What can be the reason? I can only keep two green leafs at the same time :(

Weird fuzz, web-like thing? Hi all! I have never seen this on any of my plants before but I’ve noticed it now on my #ElephantEar #Colocasia plant lately. It’s even showing up on the new leaf growing out. Any idea what it is or how I can get it off? 😅

New plant declining fast Hello, I’m new to this plant. I just brought her home Sunday. She was dug up from someone’s yard, put in this pot with fresh soil and a bit of water, but not too much because the original owner didn’t want the soil too wet. It’s now Wednesday and she’s declining fast in my home. Is there anything I can do? (The green photo is Sunday, the purple photo is today) #Taro

Would this be considered a taro? I purchased this at a local school and it was labeled as Elephant Ear Black Ruffles. Or would this be considered an elephant ear species?

I brought my #ColocasiaBlackCoral inside for the winter and she's giving me new leaves already! She must like the grow light that's sort of near her. I was worried she wouldn't get enough light inside but I think she's doing alright!! 🖤 #colocasia #colocasiacollective #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #growlights #plantlove #planttherapy #jesssjungle #plantmafia #theamigos

Hi it’s me again. Plant update and more questions… #Taro Posted a couple of weeks ago. Cut off the leaves that were suffering. In some ways the plant looks like it’s adjusting, but in other ways not so much. Two things im noticing: curled leaves and brown spots on other leaves. Any advice from you nice people would be appreciated.

New plant mum looking for any advice! I just bought a bunch of beautiful plants from Facebook marketplace and among them is this stunner! I was told it’s a alocasia limeade elephant ear, or a taro, is this correct? I have no experience with plants so any advice would be greatly appreciated 🥺💕🌿 Thanks so much! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom #Taro #AlocasiaAddicts #Alocasia

How can I make sure this baby has the best chance of growing? I got her in the mail just yesterday so she's been in the dark for a few days. Bottom watered as soon as I unpacked it and have kept it away from being directly near the window.

Spathe forming? #Taro Was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to fully bloom? Does anyone have a blooming photo they can share? This is a sumo elephant ear I believe.

Leaves yellowing This happens every year with this plant. I bring it inside after the summer where it does great outside and has a tremendous growth season. Then, over the first two months of fall / winter the leaves slowly yellow and die and all that growth is gone. My only hope has been that the plant can make it through the winter inside so that I can start the process all over again in the spring. Any tips on how to keep this plant happy inside? #Taro
