Hawaiian Spider Plant
About Hawaiian Spider Plant
Spider plants are an incredibly popular houseplant known for their ability to grow plantlets along their stems. These plantlets can be removed and grown to create new plants! Spider plants are used as a charm of protection by the Nguni people of South Africa, who dip the roots of spider plants in water to make a tea for pregnant mothers. 🫖

How to fertilize Hawaiian Spider Plant
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hawaiian Spider Plant after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Last month, I got a few free non-variegated spider plant pups. I've heard that these guys are hard to keep alive, which is why I was usually worried about it-- I didn't want to kill it, because it was a gift from a friend that I'll probably see again in 2 years. It hadn't had any roots yet, so I was actually thinking of digging it up and seeing if there was any progress; and I was considering switching it to water. Last night, I realized I no longer had to do so! A huge root was sticking out one of the drainage holes, and I initially thought it was a worm. Do you guys think it's time for a repot? 😆 #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #freeplants #spiderplant #hawaiianspiderplant

Spider plant + Hawaiian Spider Plant combination! I'm not actually sure if people do these often, so I gave it a try! They've been in this pot for maybe a month or two and they're doing great!! Has anyone done this? Share in the comments! #spiderplant #hawaiianspiderplant #happyplants #plantaddict #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Hey, guys! This is my first plant that I am taking on. I put my plant Cudi in a bigger pot today and am curious about your experiences with how your plant reacted. Here is a picture of what his roots looked like when we plucked him out of his tiny pot.
