Finding light for Rough Maidenhair Fern in your home
a window
Bronze Venus Fern may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.

How to fertilize Bronze Venus Fern
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Bronze Venus Fern after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

How can I help out my fern? So I bought this fern from Home Depot a while back and it was going great until the leaves started turning brownish and getting crunchy. I kept watering it like normal thinking it would maybe bounce back and I tried different lighting hoping that would help but sadly the plant passed away. I was procrastinating throwing it out because I still had hope that maybe it would come back and over the past couple of days I noticed baby fern growth! My question is, how can I help these babies grow and keep it healthy? Should I cut out the dead growth or leave it? The issue is the stems are so thin and fragile I don’t want to risk repotted and breaking those fragile stems or hurting the roots. Anyone have any advice? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth

What’s up with my Fern? Hey Y’all! So far I’ve been having great success with my plants but I’m having a small issue with one of my ferns and I’m here asking for some help. This is a Fern I got a few weeks ago so she’s not very new and I would say she’s pretty well acclimated to my home. She’s on a watering schedule and in a plastic pot with drainage that never seemed to cause her any trouble before. She’s on a shelf that gets indirect sunlight in the morning and afternoon. I mist my plants at night and I have a humidifier since I’m in a dryer climate. She’s not under an air conditioner and the plants around her seem to thrive in the same place. So I’m curious, why are her leaves crunchy and wilting? #help #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom

Fern Burn! 🔥 #RoughMaidenhairFern #FernFriends HELP! Love this little guy but he’s struggling. The leaves feel dry and crispy and I have some browning at the bottom leaves at this one at top. He sits at a SE facing window, filtered through frosted glass and bushes outside. Thank you!!

Fungus or Mold? #RoughMaidenhairFern this guy is really testing me. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but the soil feels moist (I just watered a little) but I’m thinking there’s mold or fungus growing. Can anyone give me guidance?

Help! #RoughMaidenhairFern I don’t know what’s going on with my fern. I thought I overwatered so I let it dry out a little bit before I did my next water. The petals look very moldy. I decided to give it a little bit more light and put it in a shaded corner of my patio, but it seems to be getting worse. I really don’t know what to do and if this is a lost cause. Should I maybe cut the dead branches? Or will that make things worse?

HELP PLEASE! Brand new to plant ownership. It was shipped to me this month (across the country) and came in a beat up box. Looked way better than this but had some dead branches I had to trim. It was root bound, was repotted, and my naughty cat knocked it off a shelf. Is this just the result of overwatering? How do I bring her back to life? Please and thank you. 😊

Plant Id So greg says it's a rough maidenhair fern but the tag says bronze venus fern. Which one is correct? #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

How often do I spray with 1/2 & 1/2 hydrogen peroxide & water? Working on getting rid of this mold, I’m wondering how often and how long I need to continue this for? Each time I’ve done it the sizzle is so satisfying 🤭 #NewPlantMom
-
Is it supposed to “sizzle” Just watered with 1/2 hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 to try and get this mold out of my fern, it sizzled like it would on a wound or in your ear, is that ok? Did I use too much 😅 #NewPlantMom #PlantAddict

Will hydrogen peroxide get rid@of this mold? Chopped my dead fearn down to the base, and ive scraped this mold off once already I’m not totally opposed to throwing it all away but I read today about getting rid of mold with hydrogen peroxide, will it hurt the new growth of my fern? #PlantAddict #IdahoeThatGarden #idahome
