How to fertilize Alocasia 'Portodora'

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Alocasia 'Portodora' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Plant help Does anyone know how to help my plant. The leaves keep browning and dying, but new leaves are still sprouting. I have her in a pot that has drainage and special tropical soil for drainage.

Alocasia’s leaves are facing down Hey hi! I would love to hear your thoughts 🌿 This is my very first Alocasia and despite feeling like it is doing rather well, its leaves occasionally start to droop a fair bit. Contrary to what I feel should be the case, there’s no mushiness to the stems. They are firm! It’s almost like the leaves are too heavy and gravity is forcing the stems down, which also doesn’t feel quite right. At the moment it’s quite warm where I live. Since I got this beauty a little less than a month ago, it has produced two new leaves and it seems like there are two different shoots near its base. So far, whenever it turned droopy, I gave it some more water and that seemed to allow the leaves to become a little firmer, as those too are quite soft. That would have them perk up again. However, the soil is still damp and has never really dried out between watering. Before I continuously make a mistake and risk slowly killing my plant, I want to make sure what I am doing is right. Any thoughts on the best course of action? #AlocasiaAddicts
