Have any of you used AI conversations to learn more about your plants? Iā€™ve been doing that to answer other peopleā€™s questions and Iā€™ve been studying my individual plants. Just now I asked a bunch of questions about my Lithops and learned a way of watering each one in a pot filled with a bunch at different stages. Answer: squirt bottle! Try talking with AI on any of your search engines. Just remember to use your own judgment as AI only gathers a lot of information from around the net and could mislead. But combined with common sense it is a good synthesizer. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #TheWateringHole

I did some work in the yard today. Planted zinnia seeds, Amaryllis and hyacinth bulbs. Also planted a lilac bush, sweet pea plant, Mandevilla, gardenia as well as the marigolds in my little courtyard. I mixed in some sun flower seeds in the middle of the marigolds!! Hello everyone, I hope youā€™re having a great day and that you are well. I recently learned that if you save banana skins and put them in a picture of water the water makes great fertilizer. I let the banana skin sit in the water for 24 hours and sprinkle the soil around my seedlings and on my plants. The banana skins put magnesium and potassium in the water. Hi all!! So today Iā€™m out getting my plants ready for an ugly storm thatā€™s coming. Most are on moving plant stands, so I roll them around. Anyway- I went to move my ā€œindoorā€ plants, and look down at my Birkin- and I thought- no way! I think my Birkin has a flower popping!!! Itā€™s not fully open yet, but the ā€œstemā€ inside the curled leaf is a brownish maroon color, with a cream colored spathe on top that is out of the sheath. From my research- it says itā€™s very rare to flower and it takes weeks to bloom. It could be a new leaf, but Iā€™m hoping itā€™s a flower since it looks so different from all the other leaves that come.
