#thewateringhole Happy Father's Day to all the Baddie Daddies out there!! Long time no post 🫶 so I thought I'd throw one out there. I hope everyone is doing well and having a wonderful Sunday 🙏☺️ I love this time of year and although it's hot as Hades in Central Texas 🔥 Everything in the Oasis is green, lush and in full bloom. Here are a few plants that are showing out today. Not sure if they're going to be in correct order 🤷‍♀️ *Prince of Orange (the new leaves are almost neon!) * Aglaonema Chinese Evergreen - has a baby bloom 😍 looks like a tiny Peace Lily flower. * Monstera Deliciosa - I've got HOLES! 🕳️ Or Perforations if you're fancy 🎉 I just noticed the singular "hole" this morning on a different leaf. Lol * Snake Plant - I gave my son last year. I was so worried that something was going to happen to it🫯 but I had no reason!! He has taken wonderful care of it 🥹💚 Here's your chance to brag on your babies! It’s Wednesday at #TheWateringHole 🌿🌤️ Good morning everybody, or should I say good day [good evening, and goodnight!] ? After several days of ~95° 🥵 I am so very very grateful to be back down in the 70°s 😮‍💨 My plants, however, thought it was swell! As I was moving around my plants this morning I was thinking about the satisfying little tasks of plant care that are delightful. For me, one of my favorites is plucking off the totally brown and dried-up sheathes of cane begonia leaves. No force necessary, once they are brown and shriveled, I just touch them and they fall off in my hands. And I don’t *have* to do this, as they will fall off eventually by themselves, but it brings me joy. 🥰 Another one is when I water, and the saucer fills up but does not overflow, and later when I go to check all the water was sucked back up and the pot is the perfect “well-watered weight.” Do you have any small plant care tasks or activities that give you satisfaction or delight? Also, eeee, new Hoya callistophyla leaf 🥳 ⏱️Want to be notified of these posts when they come out? Good morning my lovely #TheWateringHole loves. 🥱 It is early here on the west coast 🌊☀️ And I need to rush off to work, but I figured I would at least start a post this morning for anyone feeling chatty. 👥🗣️🌿 I know I sure am, and it’s not just because I don’t want to go to work, but I also don’t want to go work in 91° 🥵 I just melt.
