I wish this was a case of hungry hungry hippos! I thought I had been super vigilant against caterpillar eggs. I was proven wrong when I found nearly all the leaves on my flowering quince had been devoured by this lovely little creature 😡 The quince has been moved to a shaded area for recovering, fingers crossed. And the perpetrator moved to a spot I know to be frequented by birds … 10 minutes later it was gone. Circle of life justice. Double check all your outdoor plants! Please read. I need everyone’s opinion… Hello everyone. I hope you’re well today I received a Chaste Tree. I ordered it from amazon.com through a company called “PLANT ME GREEN”A Chaste Tree is something I have been wanting for a very long time and it is a fantastic pollinator. I was not home when it was delivered. I saw the notification and rushed back here as soon as possible. When I took it out of the box, the tree was severely damaged by insects and fungus. I just contacted the company and sent them the photos that I posted here. They were closed so I emailed them. I do not believe this was caused during shipment. I believe that it was shipped like that. So much for quality control. What are those black spots? Is this some sort of fungus or scale that was caused by the infestation? Help, please!! There are a ton of little gnat type bugs flying around that I think are coming from my gifted peace lily. Any suggestions to get rid of them? I put the plant outside Idont want it infecting the others I have. #PestControl

Hey I’m back in a not so positive mood i found spider mites on many plants. Didn’t know they were causing so much trouble but even so I took some drastic measures ( buzz cutting the leaves ) it’s NOT fun. First the universe or wtv threw aphids. Gone. Thrips. Almost gone/redused AND ALL OF THIS MANUALLY CAUSE I WAS BORED TO WALK A DISTANCE OF NOT EVEN A KILOMETER TO THE AGRICULTURE STORE. AND NOW SPIDER MITES? Girl I- I DID SEE THEM BUT I SAID SUM SHI LIKE “ Awwww cute lil bug make yourself at home 🥰 “ NO. First it was my tumeric. Then it was my beloved chamomile which I wish is not gonna die. Then my fennel. MY FRENCH LAVENDER YALL DONT KNO IM OUT HERE TRYING TO FIND ALL OF THEM FROM MORNING TILL ALMOST NIGHT. If they touch my lemongrass I’m going crazy. I’m gonna spread the negativitest energy on them. I am starting to forget how to write in English I’m gonna cry cause the lavender is pale and fuzzy WHICH MAKES IT HARDER TO SPOT THEM. Also my lavender might have bortytis HOW IS IT EVEN SPELLED. IT S ALREADY GRAYISH HOW AM I SUPPOSEDTO FIND THE MOLD. If sb read all of this novellike post you the ogs Ilove you pls don’t claim my negative energy I’m keeping it for them. Also quick question. Is Audrey ok? It’s Monday, almost time for dog walk🐕🐾 & dinner 🍽️ here! Just wanted to share a new flower spike on my anthurium bakeri. It will turn bright red and then form fat seeds all along the top of the spike🌱. Last pic is the post-sulfur treatment of the batch of FB Marketplace Hoyas I got from a local gal. The day I brought them home 🏡 I showered 🚿 them & sprayed with insecticidal soap. Never did I consider flat mites. I’ve got many Hoyas and never battled flat mites. Guess if you collect them long enough it’s bound to happen. I’m definitely looking into beneficials with help from our resident beneficial bug expert Nadia @DreamMachine 🏆🙌 for post sulfur maintenance 👩‍🔧. How was your Monday? It’s probably a short work week for many with 4th of July this weekend 🇺🇸🎆🧨🎇🇺🇸.
