Happy Monday! Rainy day today on Long Island, but the green is Lush! I picked up these 2 new Alocasia (one looks just like a philodendron golden crock without the color) but is a type of Alocasia I never heard of. My caladium bloom has went to sleep (wasn’t pollinated) so it redirected its energy towards the leaves, and she’s big and beautiful and full. New leaf coming on my monstera New leaf unfurled & new leaf coming on my ruby ficus New leaf coming on my 3 kings syngonium Prayer plant props are pushing out new growth 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I have blue mint monstera and Burle Marx in their humidity domes. Still some rust fungus appearing on my regular mint monstera. I’m 4 treatments in, and although there’s new growth- it’s localized. So I do believe I stopped the spread. Good morning everyone. Its a very rainy morning here in west central Florida. I hope all is well with you. Here’s a picture of a flower that I took a few weeks ago while hiking out in the green swamp area. My Plant ID app calls it a “Pale Meadow Beauty”. I’m not sure if that is correct. However, I thought it looked interesting so I took its picture. It could be something invasive. Or maybe one flower specifically. I’m not sure how many yet but I’ve read that it’s rare for these plants to flower indoors in a natural setting. I was over dropping off some caladiums to family and a few friends and just had to share how beautiful they have gotten. Three or four actually have flowers! Which is so exciting to me. Good morning! Question for all of my #HoyaHeads #TheWateringHole folks and others who are hoya obsessed! 🤩 Many of you remember my plant mail heuschkeliana variegated disaster (long story short, mail person set it behind my car and my husband ran over it. I had to start it all from cuttings again.) The cuttings are rooting and beginning to send out new leaves , but they’re completely white! I’m not quite sure what to do about it. Any tips? They grow plenty of new leaves but never any babies. I fertilize every other watering with orchid fertilizer finding its better for growing than the airplant fertilizer. Please correct me if wrong . I water every six days in summer and eight to nine in winter. Why why why am I not producing babies 👶

Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a very good day. Here’s an update on my Chaste Tree. This is the tree that several weeks ago was shipped to me diseased and bug infested. I cured it and I believe it is healthy enough to be planted into the ground. So, this evening I put it in the ground. I am going to put some mulch around it tomorrow morning. Here are blooms from my, two, new Blanket Plants.
