Or maybe one flower specifically. I’m not sure how many yet but I’ve read that it’s rare for these plants to flower indoors in a natural setting. I guess it’s happy! . #hubbypickedagoodone #igotitright.

@Shells_Garden wow that is awesome🤩 One flower stem bear several flowers, but they might be hard to spot as they hide in the folds of what seems to be 1 green flower😆
I never managed to keep my Dotties alive 😔 But my Makoyanas have flowered alot this summer😊 It is a similar kind of flower, but still a bit different😄

@MockingJay that’s really pretty. I’ve never managed to keep calathea’s alive for more than a year. The Dottie is fairly new so I’m excited to see it so healthy. The other couple that have survived for more than 2 years is my Makoyana. It was dying after 4 years so I moved it outside on the patio to the plant graveyard but it’s come back. Still no flowers but looos super healthy now. I also have a rattlesnake Calathea that’s 2 years old but she’s seen better days!
