Who loves a good before and after? Even though #greg states fiddles do not like porous pots, this fiddle couldn’t be happier. Check out this growth spurt that happened when I finally placed her in a north window of my four season room. Unreal growth!!!

My fiddle fig has black spots or parts on it all around the edges and I’m trying to figure out what is wrong with it. I will send a picture. οΏΌ

FLF continuation…is it better to start a new post or continue in the thread? πŸ€” anyhoo, I downsized from 20” pot to 15”, added perlite, orchid bark and cactus soil to my organic potting mix, cleaned the roots and they looked healthy and great, cut off all leaves and branches and moved it to a sunnier spot in the house. Fiddle leaf question. So, I’ve had my guy for maybe 3 ish years. It was tall when I got it at Costco. I’ve learned the hard way for sure. I repotted him in the spring and then overwatered and lost loads of leaves. He’s since stabilized but I’ve not seen any new growth in quite some time and his pot never seems to be dry when I use my water measuring tool. Should I be concerned about this? I saw an online post about a plant person who had cut off all the branches and leaves of their FLF and it grew back healthy and adorable. Any success with that? Should I just leave it alone? #FiddleLeafFig #pruneitback
