Good morning everyone. Thank you for answering my question about the  oleander aphids .Yesterday morning when I went outside to check on my garden, I found 100s of seeds sprouting for my butterfly garden. It was amazing how quickly they sprouted. I already have native milkweed, Florida Paintbrush, Firespike, Blanket plants, scarlet that are established and scarlet sage. Hello everyone, I hope you’re well. I usual it’s another scorching hot with more humiliating humidity in central Florida. I found these on one of my milkweed plants. At first, I thought there were egg clusters from possibly a monarch butterfly so I didn’t disturb them. However, I’ve been noticing they have not been making any kind of change at all. I identified them. These are Oleander aphids. Tiny little yellow/orange bugs with black legs. I just doused them with a Neem oil. I made a positive identification through three separate apps. Here’s is my favorite app I’ll share here. It will help identify almost any bugs you find in your garden. For whatever reason I can’t seem to get moving. I have been meaning to repot two cacti whose roots are trying to escape through the drainage holes of their pots. And just like @MariansOasis I have been procrastinating. So I was checking up on some other cacti in the oasis (I’m expecting three more cacti soon) ! And I saw this little guy with the cute little flowers. So I asked myself do I really need other plants? I do enjoy the cacti so much especially when they’re such prolific bloomer?! So this will be a test, to see if I can refrain from buying foliage plants, and cacti-as well (of course). Wish me luck! I will post pics of the new arrivals as soonas they get here!

Loving my little goldfish plant in a thrift pot (thrifting is my other obsession) but it never ever blooms. This is a propagation from another one that I bought two years ago any tips? It gets very good Light. It’s in a north and an east facing window.In a bump out. #TheWateringHole

They are difficult to eradicate in one go. How to prevent and spot Start by quarantining any new plants you bring into your home. Carefully inspect your new plant babies and wipe down their leaves. After new plants are acclimated to your home make sure to scan them regularly for pests. Check for webbing or cottony masses on the underside of the leaves. Nipping them in the bud Most pests can be eradicated using a mixture of water, neem oil, and dish soap. If you're using neem oil, be sure to apply it late in the day, as direct sunlight can burn an oil-treated leaf. 1) Spider mites and mealybugs: Prune infested sections, then wipe down leaves 2) Fungus gnats: Use dual-sided yellow sticky traps to catch these flying buggers Larger bugs like spiders and ladybugs are your friends and often help keep other pests under control.
