I just wanted to brag a bit on behalf of my aloe plant. He really is “The Little Plant That Could”. I purchased him as a mature plant 2 years ago. 1.5 years ago, my parents 1 year old Great Pyrenees puppy destroyed him to the point I really thought he went to plant Heaven. I put what was left back in the pot and put him in the dark laundry room. (It was winter. I’m in Northern Indiana. That room gets quite cold.) After a few weeks, I noticed growth! Forward to today, and look how happy he is. I should probably transplant some of the babies though. It’s Monday, almost time for dog walk🐕🐾 & dinner 🍽️ here! Just wanted to share a new flower spike on my anthurium bakeri. It will turn bright red and then form fat seeds all along the top of the spike🌱. Last pic is the post-sulfur treatment of the batch of FB Marketplace Hoyas I got from a local gal. The day I brought them home 🏡 I showered 🚿 them & sprayed with insecticidal soap. Never did I consider flat mites. I’ve got many Hoyas and never battled flat mites. Guess if you collect them long enough it’s bound to happen. I’m definitely looking into beneficials with help from our resident beneficial bug expert Nadia @DreamMachine 🏆🙌 for post sulfur maintenance 👩‍🔧. How was your Monday? It’s probably a short work week for many with 4th of July this weekend 🇺🇸🎆🧨🎇🇺🇸. My Thai con unfurled its leaf! I wont say I wasn’t a little disappointed when I saw the difference in size and the fenestrations but I had realized half way through it shooting up that it needed better support😪 That being said the variegation is beautiful and I’m excited for the next one already! #HappyPlants #ThaiConstellation

Plant 🪴 MAIL. My hoya publicay red buttons came today 💕 I got the pretty pink polka at Food Lion on Friday I went to Walmart today and got the desert rose cactus 🌵 and the geometric cactus 🌵 and they had bonus plants in both of them. Actually all the coastal farms little cactus has these extra plants in them . #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy The plant on the top shelf is my snow queen I recently repotted and changed her spot and now she has #newgrowth

My Green Congo Nuclear has its new home. Super stoked! I love the variagation on this plant and it has a yellow sport leaf with white variagation on it! I don't think you can see it well from the pic but the white splotches are there. And a half moon leaf beside it. So there is this little thing sprouting near my aloe plant! I was doing their daily checkup and I saw this, in so confused how a seed could have gotten in there. It's indoors but it is surrounded by other plants, I'm not going to pull it out because I wanna see what it is. I feel like it's a weed, but who knows! I will come back to this post once the little "weed" grows a bit more. I will keep you guys updated! #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

The picture with the grass island I swear, I see a yellow and orange flower. Check the purple flowers out they are blooming on the ferns .

Good morning wonderful plant friends. This is my beautiful Crêpe Myrtle. I planted it many years ago. A few years back it was damaged by several hurricanes and it looked like it was dying. Last year it appeared to be almost completely dead. As a result, I took a chainsaw and, sadly, cut it down. Now it’s coming back with a vengeance. I’m very happy. I guess all it needed was a good pruning.
