Cousin's aloe plant looks damaged..
Hey guys! So my cousin's aloe plant isn't doing well and I don't know what happened because there are these dark spots and scratches on it too. I don't know what happen but I keep telling her repot it and I will give her a saucer for drainage but she refuses so I don't know if the plastic is affecting it or not because the roots are coming out of the bottom. I need help ๐

Hi Isabella. You are correct...it's survival entirely depends on it being repotted.
It is currently suffocating. It's not the plastic pot, it's the size of the plastic pot. When repotting, make sure it's a very well draining soil. And I'd honestly wait for a week after repotting before I watered to let the waterlogged roots oxygenate and heal.

Thank you! I will tell this to her and try to convince her because I assumed something was wrong. When I got mine I looked at the roots and I have repot it just in time because I saw those little black spots coming and I spread out the roots as I planted it. Thanks again guys!
